Chapter 25: Under Command: Secrets in the Shadow

Command Center, Azur Lane
Tribunal POV

I got words that the staff will be shorten after we got words that the Commander is okay from his long term fatigue and hidden from everyone, but the Queen was order to remain on stand by since this is the secret hidden from everyone and people will figure out if she is missing. I was assign to the Command Center with Dido and her sisters since they are shorten while some of them are checking the Commander, but this is the request of Lady Valiant to train the new maids today.

Tribunal: "Today is the day that I'm in charge while Lady Belfast is out so make sure that everything is put is nice and clean until she arrives."

Dido: "What do you want?"

Tribunal: "For now the Queen wants to be alone for the time being so we need to fix the building up."

We head to the kitchen and see a huge mess that was created by the Eagle Union for their BBQ party yesterday and they didn't have a chance to clean it up. I order the new maids to clean the kitchen while I observe and see they can clean it up without my help; however I make sure that everyone is doing it correctly. I notice Sirius is making a mess so I decide to help her out, but I need to watch my belly otherwise I end up crushing my child. I order Sheffield to help me out with this which she agree despite a sigh since she was order by Belfast to keep an eye out for me due to my pregnancy. I continue to monitor the situation and see that Dido is talking with her doll that looks like her. I heard that she have a difficult time with others and talk with the doll that looks like her because she always think of a failure despite everyone keeps telling her that. Everything is going great at the kitchen and we decide to move to the next room; I continue to watch the Queen who is still in her office by through my security cameras in my tablet. She is still waiting for the Commander to show up at her computer, but right now let's focus on the task at hand. We head to the library where we been order to sort the books out that not sorting. I can see a lot of books that is out of place.

Tribunal: "Time to sort the books."

I climb on the ladder, but was stop by Sheffield.

Sheffield: You sit down and relax. Don't want you to hurt yourself."

She is right, but I hate doing nothing since I get bore so easily; however that what happen when you carry a treasure in your belly. I decide to sit down on the chair and wait for something to happen that requires my help which I notice Dido is putting the books on the wrong spot so I give out a cough which signal Sheffield which she notice what I notice.

Sheffield: "Dido; that is the wrong place for those books. They belong to the other section."

Dido look at the book and the sector she is in and realize her mistake before heading to the right sector. I coordinate the maids while I sit down on the chair which I was about to sleep until Sheffield tap my shoulder which means that it's time to move on. We head to the bathroom which I can do by mopping the floor while the girls do the dirty works that requires bending over. I start sweeping first to get rid of any dust before moving to the mop, but have to wait until everyone is done so that way I have the entire room mop without bumping into someone. After that is done; we head to the next bathroom until every room is clean up.

It took the entire day to finish with maid duty until everyone return of seeing the Commander which Belfast order my relieve and a day off request which I'm happy about and decide to use it when the time is good for it. Gettysburg is coming back from his commission with his older sister Yorktown at Midway. Gettysburg looks beat and tire from the fighting with the Sirens which I offer him some nice cool tea.

Gettysburg: "How's your day?"

Tribunal: "I have to observe the new maids today, but it was nice except for the part of me sitting."

Gettysburg: "Can't help it. We're doing this for the baby and it would be bad if you have a bad carriage."

I agree with him, but it sucks that I have to observe the new maids. I hope it won't be long because carrying the baby is like carrying a bucket of water all day and also it look like I gain some weight. Amagi give me a comfortable chair as a gift for relaxation. I sit on the chair while watching the garden from the porch which is peaceful. I rest for the rest of the day while Gettysburg give me a blanket to keep me comfortable from the cool air.

Gettysburg: "Don't stay too long."

I nod before fallen asleep on the chair while feeling the cool wind hitting me in the face. I can feel the baby moving around in me which sounds like she is getting a better position for this. We found out that the baby is a girl and we named her Resolute after the greatest Ventaor ship I met and as an honor of her.
