Chapter 9: Secrets of the Royal Navy

I was about to do some shopping for Mother while at the same time; I heard that my favorite food is on sale today with lower price than usual. I can grab that after I finish shopping for Mother; she is enjoying a day with Aunt Akagi; I was about to head inside until I notice couple of girls talking about something with the Commander.

???: "I hope Abercrombie become secretary so we can get a date from the Commander."

I'm confuse of what's going on so I decide to grab the supplies for Mother quickly and inform her about this situation. I know Abercrombie as a trickster in the Royal Navy and I don't see her getting the secretary shipgirl spot. As a Royal Navy maid; it's my job to investigate this further, but first I need to do this. I grab the stuff and head back.

Sakura Dorm, Azur Lane

I return home to inform Mother about this while handing the supplies to her, but I notice Akagi is fluster about something with her eyes turning into hearts all the sudden which means that she is thinking about the Commander, but what cause it.

Tribunal: "I'm home Mother."

Kaga: "Welcome home and thank you for doing the shopping."

Tribunal: "What's wrong Aunt Akagi?"

Kaga: "She sign a form for Abercrombie that makes her a secretary shipgirl and was promise a date with the Commander, but I don't trust that monitor shipgirl."

I was shock that Akagi fell for it so easily unless.... Did Abercrombie was going to convince the girls to sign it if she promise them the Commander on a date. I know that every girls in the port love the Commander and want to date him so this is bad news for the Queen. I need to stop her before it's too late, but first I need to observe her activities. Time for Detective Tribunal to investigate the case. I bid farewell to Mother and Aunt Akagi who is still dreaming about the date before finding Abercrombie.

Cafe, Azur Lane

I notice Nelson and Rodney talking about something until Abercrombie arrive with paper works which I think it's the agreement papers for the transfer. I know Nelson is always on edge with Abercrombie and Rodney is the tough nut to crack, but I decide to observe the situation which I was right that she is using the date with the Commander to get a vote. I can see Nelson blushing red while Rodney didn't sign it.

Tribunal: "Rodney is the reasonable one unlike the other girls."

I continue to watch until I feel a tap on the shoulder which shock me.

???: "You know eavesdropping is wrong."

I turn around and see Lady Hood standing behind me which I bow before her while I apologize for unladylike action.

Tribunal(bow): "Sorry Lady Hood, but I'm worry about the situation with Abercrombie."

Hood notice Abercrombie with a smile on her face and Nelson blushing red which she put the situation into pieces and sigh.

Hood(sigh): "What should I do with her?"

Tribunal: "If we don't do something than the Queen would lose her role."

Hood(happy): "I think we don't need to worry about this."

I'm confuse about this, but I trust Hood on this since she is the Pride of the Royal Navy and let the water flow for the time being and see how bad this is going to get.

Throne Room, Royal Navy Dorm

I watch through the door to see that Abercrombie have made a major victory against the Queen and now become a secretary after Warspite sign her name on the paper which the Queen is angry about it while Warspite is sad that she fell the trick. I don't know what's going on that Hood isn't worry about this until she arrive with a phone that is ringing.

Tribunal: "Lady Hood and why do you have a phone?"

Hood: "This is for Abercrombie."

Hood enter the Throne Room and hand the phone to Abercrombie which I can hear girls screaming at her about the date with the Commander including Aunt Akagi who is angry at her which I'm about to get angry for her deceiving my Aunt and she want Hood to help her, but she refuse. That's will you get for lying to people in order to achieve power because it will catch up to you later than sooner. I left to continue my day while the situation is getting fix by the Queen herself.

Sakura Dorm, Azur Lane

I'm sitting down with Mother and Amagi while Akagi is angry that she got set up by Abercrombie, but we both know that it was a trick; however Akagi didn't listen to us because she believe that her destiny is with the Commander which I sigh. I continue to eat the food that I was supplying until I realize that I forgot something which is my favorite food that was coming out on sale, but I was mainly focus on stopping Abercrombie that I didn't get a chance to get it. I was upset until Kaga grab something out of the freezer and hand it to me.

Kaga: "Here you go. As reward for bringing in the supplies."

It was Strawberry Short Cake Ice Cream. That was the food I was trying to get my hands on before the Abercrombie situation and I start to eat it happily as my dessert which makes everyone happy.

Kaga: "I have a feeling that you forgot about it when you're helping Hood with that trickster's pranks. So I decide to reward you."

Tribunal(happy): "THANK YOU MOTHER!"

I say that will crying of joy and we spend the day inside.
