Chapter 22: Unexpected Beginnings

Medical Office, Azur Lane
Tribunal POV

I have Vestal to check on me while Gettysburg pass out from been shock after I inform him about my lump on the stomach and Vestal give me an status report, but it was shocking to me.

Vestal: "You're pregnant Tribunal."

Tribunal(shock): "WHAT?"

Vestal: "Congratulation Tribunal. Make sure that you come every month for check-up and see progress."

Tribunal(confuse): "What does pregnant mean?"

Vestal is shock that I don't know this so she give me a run-down of what it means. According to her that I'm carrying a baby inside my stomach or other term my child or in couple term me and Gettysburg's child growing inside my stomach.

Vestal: "Interesting this is the first time in history that we have a child growing inside a kansen. We need to update this to High Command and see what we can come up with, but just in case make sure stay healthy for about 9 months."

I start to get upset because I won't able to eat those sweets that Gettysburg give me, but if that means for the safety of the baby than I have no choice in this matter. After some check-up; I head outside to see Mother waiting for me at the lobby after she was inform that I was going to the medical facility. She must been worry sick, but not showing it on her face; however her action says another. She notice me with worry look on her face and hug me.

Kaga: "Are you alright? Did something bad happen to you? DID GETTYSBURG DO SOMETHING TO YOU?"

That is wrong except half of it, but it's a good thing. I decide to tell Mother about what happen at the medical facility which we both sit down on the bench and inform her about what happen with Vestal.

Tribunal: "I'm pregnant."

Mother eyes was widen up after hearing that and was shock to hear it, but end up start to think about what we need to do, but I order her that everything is under control because Gettysburg make some plans for emergency, but I was stop by Mother when she put her hand in my mouth.

Kaga: "This is something that we need to band together. This is not just about only you two, but the entire family as a whole. I'm going to contact Akagi, Amagi, Hornet, Yorktown, and Enterprise to have sisters meeting."

She left while I'm confuse of what their planning to do.

Cafe, Azur Lane
Kaga POV

I inform everyone to meet at the cafe and have our own private room to have this meeting about Tribunal's child, but Enterprise wasn't happy that we have to pull everyone out during Eagle-Sakura carrier exercise that is happening today, but this is more important than training.

Enterprise: "Can you tell us of why we been pull out Kaga?"

Akagi: "Right; I was able to defeat Enterprise with my charm and skill."

Enterprise: "Doubt it."

The two glare at each other, but I slam the table with my hand which draw the attention of the group and cause the two of them stop their bickering.

Kaga: "Today we're going to discuss about helping Tribunal and Gettysburg. I find out that Tribunal is pregnant and it's in early stage."

Everyone(shock): "WHAT?"

Everyone was shock and happy that a new member is coming into their lives including Amagi and Yorktown who are the oldest.

Yorktown(happy): "I'm going to become a Aunt."

Amagi has the same feeling when Tribunal become a child of Kaga, but now becoming Great Aunt for their new child; however the main question is what kind of child is it. Is it a female or a male, but they need to wait for that answer in the future. We continue to discuss about having a baby shower when we know what kind of baby it is and we need to start to question of what kind of ship is the child. Is the child contain space-travel like her mother or have the same powers as her father. After having a long meeting of this; we decide to conclude it before heading back to the training, so that Akagi can fight against Enterprise. Everyone except for me and Amagi exit the building.

Amagi: "Worry that Tribunal will have a hard time to take care of the child? I still remember the times that we were kids at the Orphanage and I have to keep you two in check for causing trouble."

Kaga: "I know, but we never experience having children of our own."

Amagi: "True. Only thing we can do is help them when it is require to be."

I agree with her and head out.

Tribunal's House, Azur Lane
Tribunal POV

I continue to look at my belly that has a lump or at least it looks like I eaten too much, but I learn from Vestal that it will continue to grow until it's ready for me to get birth which it's about 9 months in human terms. I start to worry that I will become a heavy AT-TE walker tank, but the most worry is him.

Gettysburg(worry): "We need a room for the child... What happens if we have twins or more? What about keeping Tribunal healthy?..... I need to bring a manual for this.... Where do I put that thing?"

I can see that he is taking this serious, but he can at least talk to me about how I feel and work together to solve this problem... Things continue to moving forward until Belfast arrive to inform me about something and a transfer order.

Belfast: "I'm sorry for disturbing and congratulation on your pregnancy."

Tribunal: "Thank you."

Belfast: "I was going to ask you that Lady Valiant will be arriving next month, but since you're pregnant than I'm going to find someone."

Tribunal: "Don't worry about it; I make sure I take care of myself carefully."

Belfast is worry about me, but I can handle it.
