Chapter 16: Echoes of the Past: A Gathering at the Sakura Museum

Museum, Sakura Dorm
Tribunal POV

I was invited by Lady Mikasa to her museum of warships that she make as an hobby, but she have to hold the invitation for her majesty and Lady Nagato including her sister. I arrive at the museum where I notice Mikasa sipping her tea at the deck.

Tribunal: "Greetings Lady Mikasa."

Mikasa(happy): "Welcome Tribunal."

Mikasa is the oldest warship in the Sakura Empire and serve the Royal Navy during her younger days which makes me similar to her except been old, but she still beautiful as always. We both walk inside of the museum that she made and have ships from different factions and this is her hobby. I can see Bismarck, Yorktown, and of course Nagato along with Queen Elizabeth. All the ship models are beautiful, but I want to ask if I was invited over alone.

Tribunal: "Is there a reason why you invite me over?"

Mikasa: "That's because I want to make a model for you as part of the family. As you can see that I build all kind of warships from submarines to carriers and I make my recent of Queen Elizabeth and Nagato not long ago, but only model I don't have is you Tribunal; however the problem is that you're a starship so making you is going to be a problem. To extend my research on you; I must see your entire ship."

She wants to make me a model of my Venator. I decide to accept it which makes her happy. Time to see my ship.

Tribunal's Ship, Azur Lane
Tribunal POV

I'm escorting Mikasa into my hull of the ship while she inspect the ship entire while taking notes and I even show her some areas that is restricted to others, but as long I'm around than I think we're good. Mikasa is taking notes of the interior of the room before we heading out; we decide to head for the bridge of the ship by taking the elevator which Mikasa is talking to me about my ship.

Mikasa: "How many Venators in your faction?"

Tribunal: "From my perspective is 1,000 Star Destroyers been deploy during the Clone Wars or constructed. They act as the flagships of the Republic."

Mikasa is interesting in the history of the Venators, but right now she want to make a model of it, but it's going to be very difficult since it's different than the other ships, but she loves to challenge. After we finish having a tour around the ship and taking notes; we exit the ship and head back to her quarters at the dorm.

Mikasa's Room, Sakura Dorm
Tribunal POV

We arrive at Mikasa's room and she offer me some tea which I thank her for it before taking a sip. It taste great.

Tribunal: "Thank you for the drink."

Mikasa: "No thank you for offer me the model sketch of your ship. I got the layout of the blueprint and now I need the materials for making it."

Tribunal: "Where you're going to put it?"

She didn't say thing except that's a secret for me or a surprise. I decide to wait for it once she is finish, but my stomach is grumbling because I haven't eat anything today since Mikasa invite me over this morning.

Mikasa: "How about I make dinner?"

I agree with her invitation and notice that she is using an old stove that was build in the old century. I learn from Nagato that she doesn't understand the current era stuff because she ends up blowing it up without a second thought which I understand of why I'm hearing explosions. Mikasa is stuck in the old ways, but I think that make her unique from the others. We have an old tradition Sakura meal along with the Royal Navy snacks during her times in the Royal Navy. This brings back her memories when she was a young lad which brings me back to my youth days when I was constructed, but not great as hers. We finish having dinner and it's about time for me to head out, but I return once she finish my model.

Time Skip
Museum, Sakura Dorm
Tribunal POV

It's about been a week since I spend time with Mikasa and I got word that she finish my model, but she wants Mother, Akagi, and Amagi to come with me to the museum for the surprise. We found Mikasa with a smile on her face, but cover in bruises from working to hard, but she complete the model.

Mikasa: "Thank you for coming over and now time to see the model."

We follow Mikasa to where she put Akagi, Amagi, and Kaga's model at the Sakura section of the museum and we both notice a big scale model of the Venator standing side by side with Kaga's carrier model. It was bigger than the Yamato-class model.

Mikasa: "Took me a week including some nights to finish it. I put you with Kaga because she is your mother."

We both stare at it and it makes me happy that my model is standing side by side with mother. Akagi took the picture of the model and about to send it through her social media which draw the attention with the others including Gettysburg who his model is located with his sisters, but close by Enterprise. It was a good day for me and I thank Mikasa for making a model of me.

Tribunal: "Thank you Mikasa."

Mikasa: "No thank you for making my best art. Time for celebrate with fireworks."

She was holding a big giant ball which says explosives which send fear into our eyes.

Everyone(shout): "WAIT!"

Too late and the building blew up. That was fun while it lasted.
