"One thing is for sure, this country was suddenly ruined only one or two weeks ago." Robin decided to join the group at the same time.
It was then when the group realized...
"One or two weeks ago? That means.."
"Th-Then Sanji and everyone else... were involved in it?!"
On with Chapter 57:
3RD PERSON POV
The group didn't have time to think about it any longer when suddenly an earthquake struck them. Wait, an earthquake? On the elephant? Something's not right...
"It's quite strong!" "This shaking is not good!" the strawhats exclaimed when (Y/n) recognized something in the distance. "Wait, look!"
Something was rising from the horizon and it looked like a thick pillar.
"What?"
And then, water started coming out of it.
"A big splash of water?!"
It took a second, but (Y/n) immediately shouted, "It'll cause floods! Get to high ground now!"
The group ran in panic, but...
"It's too late!"
Water started coming and was splashing around them as they tried to find high ground.
(Y/n) had thoughts racing through her mind thinking of what she could do to save them. A last minute shield? A water hand? She was surveying the area as best as she could.
However, the water ended up rising faster than she thought and flooded the entire area, sweeping everyone off the ground.
Being enveloped with water, (Y/n) accidentally drank some and her first thought was "salty.." before realizing the status of her lover, "LAW!"
Using her water magic to help her navigate through the water, and soul magic to find the members of the crew, eventually she managed to bring all of them out and onto higher ground.
"It's flooding!" Usopp cried despite already being saved, "There's a shark! A shark?! Why?!"
Zoro looked up at Usopp who had climbed onto a broken building, "You went way too high! This is high enough."
Robin tasted some of the water, "Seawater? Maybe, that was the giant elephant spraying water on itself."
(Y/n) smacked her lips at the aftertaste of the water she accidentally swallowed, "Mm, it makes sense, since there are some sea creatures that came from the flood too."
Robin nodded in agreement, "It seems like both the town and the forest are adapted to this water level." she said as she observed the platform the buildings were built on and the trees on the hills;
"Well, seeing the water amount... I guess you're right!" Franky agreed.
"That means this happens every day..." Law added.
