Recap:
"Robin..are you crying?" (Y/n) asked before gasping. "Ryuu! You're turning back into a drawing!"
This got the attention of the boys who stopped cheering and immediately ran towards the slowly fading dragon.
"Wait a minute! We haven't really thanked you yet!"
They began crying too.
But thankfully, Ryunosuke faded away with a huge pleased smile on his face.
"Ryunosuke! Thank you!" they cried into the sunset while hearing one last "Ryuu!"

"This is absurd."
"It's just a bad drawing"
Meanwhile Law and Zoro weren't amused by the emotional scene...
On with Chapter 55:
3RD PERSON POV
Walking further into the unknown land, they were met with the archway they had seen from a distance.
"That must be a gate into the country. There is certainly civilization on the elephant's back." Zoro pointed out as the team observed their surroundings.
(Y/n) did a small jog to catch up to Law.
"There's a watchtower but no guards." he pointed to the tall building by the side, "It's not security befitting for a country.."
(Y/n) looked around and saw that Robin is not with the group. She turned back and checked, and saw her kneeling down beside the Ryuunosuke drawing with a flower in hand.
She placed the flower there and sat in silence, mourning the "death" of the drawing.
"..." (Y/n) had no comments but condolences to the archaeologist before moving on with the rest.
"I found a good spot!" Luffy stretched his arms up and launched himself upwards to the watchtower. "So this is the back of the elephant!" one could faintly hear him from below. "Hey, Usopp! Come up here!" It's amazing!"
Usopp complained for a second on how Luffy managed to climb so quickly before running up there as quickly as he could.
It wasn't long when Usopp arrived that Luffy decided to just jump down from the tower.
"I knew he'd do that." Zoro said, "Do you see old "eyebrows"?" he asked Usopp while (Y/n) thought who he was referring to, and guessed it to be Sanji and his interesting eyebrows.
"No! This place is too high to see anybody!" Usopp reported back.
"Zoro, shouldn't we wait for Kin'emon and Kanjuro?" Robin asked.
"It's not as vast as a continent. Let's just go." Zoro said before continuing forward and having the others follow him. He stopped beneath the archway, "He didn't have to jump." he said referring to Luffy, "The gates are open."
"No, I think this was actually broken down.." (Y/n) crouched down to get a closer look at the gate that was left on the ground. Looking at the hinges, it seemed they were damaged from an unnatural cause unlike from rusting or from being worn out.
"You're right." Zoro agreed as he continued walking forward, "This trail looks strange too. It's too wide to call it an animal trail in a forest."
(Y/n) stood up from her spot and looked around too, "The trees are obviously damaged too! Look, some of them don't even have their leaves anymore!"
"Hey, this is some pretty serious destruction!" Franky commented, "And it's still fresh. Are Sanji and the others gonna be okay?!"
Usopp finally caught up to the group and added in his own comment, "What a mess! I couldn't see it from up there but what's going on here?!"
Robin said nothing but inspected the area too.
Zoro let out a laugh and unsheathed his sword, "Let's proceed with caution!" but his grin told our protagonist, that he won't be cautious.
Usopp of course was against the idea, "What?! We don't really know the residents here and have other enemies?!" Zoro and Law ignored him though and continued moving forward, jumping off the small hill they were on and onto the trail.
"W-W-Wait a minute, guys! Please!"
....
All of them eventually got onto the trail and followed it to wherever it led.
"It's hard to walk." Zoro pointed out.
"Well, it is an elephant's skin." (Y/n) responded to him, also slightly struggling to walk normally on the trail.
"Dammit! Bring it on if you want! But actually, don't!" Usopp was watching their backs, albeit terrified.
"Usopp."
Said man let out a scream before realizing who called him, "(Y/n)! Don't scare me like that!!"
(Y/n) laughed because it wasn't even intentional, "Sorry." she apologized whilst still laughing, "Anyway, I can help you cover our backs?"
Usopp looked at her like she was an angel that was sent down to help them, "Yes please!! It's scary here!" he cried at the end and (Y/n) laughed at his antics.
Robin looked around the area and commented, "There are flowers in such strange spots." It was true, they were growing in places where they were usually not found.
The group continued walking for another minute.
Franky sniffed the air, "What happened here? I smell the faint odour of gunpowder...and gas, do you?" he asked.
(Y/n) sniffed the air too, "Now that you said it, yeah, it kinda does."
"What's this all about?" Usopp asked, "Can't we just lie back in a peaceful country sometimes?! I'm scared! Scared!"
Law and Zoro suddenly stopped and had their hands on the handles of their swords, frightening Usopp more, "What?! What is it?! Did you see something?!" They didn't answer but instead continued looking around while the rest stayed silent.
"..."
"I got this."
Zoro unsheathed his sword and sliced at something that headed his way, but that thing dodged him and went over his head.
Zoro managed to follow up just in time and parry the attack of..a bunny girl? She had blonde hair, white fur, and green clothing?
"Wait! Stop, carrot!"
The ground started shaking and suddenly, a bigger animal emerged from the forest, breaking the trees and sending broken branches and logs everywhere.
"AHHHH! Here comes something else!" Usopp screamed.
The animal, a crocodile(?), had a muzzle and got pulled back by another anthropomorphic being (like the bunny) on top of it, "Forget about them-teia! More importantly, we have an invader in the Whale Forest!"
"Talking animals?!" "They're the Mink Tribe!" (Y/n) readied her staff and was ready to attack when Usopp pointing out something, "Oh?! I-Isn't that outfit...Nami's?!"
