Recap:
"We're gonna have the greatest night of our lives!" Nekomamushi cheered and the other Minks joined.
Robin decided to join Franky and Brook to greet Kin'emon and Kanjuro when they finally reach the top. (Y/n) decided to not join them but instead join her captain, who was sitting far at the side of the party. She ended up being the one to bring the both of them food and drinks (voluntarily).
Hours later, the banquet had ended. Everyone was sleeping on the ground and some were in their corners.
Our protagonist and her partner were leaning against one of the trees, sleeping close to each other...
On with Chapter 59:
3RD PERSON POV
The town's bell rang and woke up the citizens from their slumber, and that includes our Witch and the Death Surgeon.
Law had just woken up a few minutes earlier, but (Y/n) unfortunately jumped awake instead of waking up naturally.
"What's that noise?" she asked in her tired voice but Law didn't answer, he too was trying to figure out what was going on.
"Samurai-saru! Samurai are here-saru!" someone was shouting in the chaos.
(Y/n) got up from her sleeping position and was about to go to the main walkway before getting pulled back by Law. Before she could question him, a stampede of Minks ran past them. If (Y/n) hadn't been stopped, she would have gotten run over.
"Follow master!"
The soldiers were rushing towards who knows where in urgency with some citizens following behind them.
"What's going on?" (Y/n) asked Law as the scene was quite overwhelming for her half-awake mind.
"The samurais' are here." Law answered.
It took her a couple of seconds to process it, but (Y/n) finally realized that it meant Kanjuro and Kin'emon had finally reached the top.
"Should we go?" "Yeah."
Law held onto (Y/n) and (Y/n) used her wind powers to fly them towards wherever the Minks were heading.
They landed on top of a building near where the Minks and Samurais were at. They both hadn't seen each other yet, thanks to the Straw Hats who tackled Kin'emon and Kanjuro behind a fallen wall while the 2 Mink leaders were arguing with each other.
"You-gara must die!" Nekomamushi shouted at Inuarashi while swinging his weapon.
Inuarashi retaliated by swinging his sword and clashing with Nekomamushi's, causing a huge wave of haki to burst out of it.
"Stop fighting!" Kin'emon shouted, revealing his presence to the Minks.
The Minks, who had been wary of Samurais this entire time, paused their actions and were looking at Kin'emon in shock.
"See?! They found you! Run, Kin'emon! They're gonna kill you!" Usopp shouted from where the Straw Hats were hiding.
But Momo also ran out from their hiding spot and joined Kin'emon's side. Kanjuro too.
"Momo, stay away! Kanjuro! Why did you guys come out?!"
"Run! Now!"
Usopp and Chopper cried as the Minks were approaching the Samurais in an orderly manner.
