Chapter 10

"It's okay Madi. We're here for you. It's all in the past," Joe comforted me, rubbing his hand on my arm.

"I guess," I responded to Joe, wiping the tears in my eyes.

~~~ THE NEXT DAY ~~~
Today, was the day before we left for New York. I was so excited to see my best friend that I haven't seen in years. We were all sleeping on the couch. I was wrapped up by Joe, and the same with Zoe and Alfie. I accidentally woke all of them when I tripped on a pillow.
"CRAP!" I yelled, falling on my face as everyone started groaning.
"Sorry," I apologized ,giggling and walking to the bathroom. I quicly brushed my hair and put it in a messy bun.

I walked back into the room we were all snuggled in to see that everyone was gone. A note was on the spot Joe and I were sitting on. Taking a seat on the couch, I opened the note. It read," Good morning beautiful. You're probably wondering where the heck are Alfie,Zoe,and I. Just follow these clues and you'll find us in no time! First Clue: I'd really enjoy some coffee, but where can I find good coffee? Oh yeah, Starbucks." I laughed at the cute little note. Before I left, I changed out of my old, nasty clothes, did my makeup, and grabbed my purse. My phone started ringing. It was Casey.

"Hey, girl!" Casey greeted me. Once again, I could feel her smile through the phone.
"Hey, Casey! What do you need?" I asked, locking Joe amd Caspar's apartment.

"Just wondering when is your flight!" Casey responded as I ran down the stairs.
"Um, 7:00 a.m, I think," I repplied as I started walking to Starbucks.
"Oh, okay. I'll pick you guys up then! Can't wait to see you! Bye!" Casey ended the call right when I walked into the near by Starbucks. The young woman took my order. The cup had a little note stuck to it. The employee just smiled at me.

I openned the note. It read," Nice. You found the next clue. Your not as stupid as I thought you were. Anyways, the next clue is, I'd really enjoy a donut, but I'm to lazy to get one! Can you get one for me?" I laughed at the little note. This was just too cute to be true! What did I do to deserve such a sweet, very gorgeous guy?

I made my to Joe's favorite donut place, (this is obviously made up) Dad's Donuts. I ordered a few donuts. Once again, on my order, there was a note. It read," So now you found this clue! Here's the next one. Caspar and I have been debating if everybody poops including celebrities. Do you mind picking up Everybody Poops?" I laughed really hard at that one.

Checking on my phone very few minutes, I walked to a near by library. There was a little note taped to the book. It said," Thanks. Now Caspar and I can finally end the case. Last clue! I'd love to relax in the sun on the grass! I wonder where....." A little giggle escaped as the librarian shushed me.

"Sorry," I whispered and checked out the book.

Listening to music on my phone, a taxi took me to the park where Joe was sitting on a little bench. He was holding flowers in one hand amd his phone in the other. Joe was wearing a cute tuxedo that I absolutely loved. He made me feel like I was underdressed. I started wondering what was going on. I made my way to Joe. He greeted me with his gorgeous, warm smile.
"Good morning beautiful!" Joe started, making me smile.

"Good morning!" I smiled back at him.

" I felt it was about time I asked you this. I love you with all my heart. I will never ever let you go. I will mever let anyone take you way from me. Will you be my girlfiemd?" Joe aaked as I bursted into tears. Joe and I haven't been together long, but I didn't care. Joe told me he loves me.
"Oh my god! Yes!" I repplied to Joe as he crashed his lips onto mine .Everything was perfect!

We sat on a picnic blanket. Alfie amd Zoe were serving our brunch. They were wearing cute little outfits. After that, we had to go becuase it started raining. This is one of the main reasons why I miss California. We caught a taxi and went back to the apartment. Alfie and Zoe went back home while Joe and I packed our bags.

JOE'S P.O.V

Flopping on the bed, I logged on to Twitter. A ton of people were tweeting a picture of Madi and I kissing at the park. Someone might of saw us in the park and took a picture of us, then #Moe sarted trending. I charged to Madi's apartment. Madi never locks her apartment when she is inside, so I just ran right in.

"MADI!" I yelled.

"WHO IS IT? Madi yelled back at me.

"WHO DO YOU THINK IT IS?" I asked.

"OH I DON'T KNOW! THE UNICORN FROM OUTER SPACE!" Madi responded.

"UNICORN NOISE!" I yelled back at her as she walked out of her room.

"Okay, for reals. What do you want?" Madi asked me, pushing the hair out of my face.

"People kmow about us because someone tweeted a picture of us kissing at the park. It's gotten pretty bad. People are hating on me for dating you," I responded to the question as Madi's eyes got wide.

"Wow," Madi began while she took out her phone and opened Twitter. " # Moe is trending. This is insane," Madi finished, putting her phone back into her pocket.

"What are we supposed to do? I asked, sighing.

"We can make a video explaining everything," Madi suggested.

"Sure," I responded.
