Chapter 13

"W-what are you d-doing here?" I asked as my heart was beating faster than it ever has.

"Uh, I. Um. Needed to borrow. You know what? This is stupid! I think we all know why I'm here!" Alex said, making my heart beat twice even faster. He came closer to me.

"MADI! MADI! WAKE UP!" Joe yelled as I started to open. Thank god. It was a dream.

" Love, fix your hair. You fell asleep now it's a mess," Joe said, helping me up the couch. I ran upstairs and quickly fixed my hair and joined everyone at the door. Zoe and Alfie were heading down the stairs to join us.

We all walked into a black limousine that was absolutely incredible! I've never been inside a limousine, so this was really awesome to me. The drive to the place where the fashion show was being held was about 20 minutes away.
We all just shared stories and laughters. It was really fun.

Eventually we got to the place, and there were tons of people, fans, and especially paparazzi. We wiggled our way through the crowd. It was about 5:00 when we sat down. We were in the front row. The room was lit with yellow, pink, and neon blue lights. It was amazing.

I don't know why, but Rex and Casey walked outside to talk about something. My curiosity was killing me. Casey was my best friend. I don't want anything bad to happen.

Casey's P.O.V

" Casey, can we talk alone outside?" Rex asked me, making me freak out. By the tone of his voice, I could tell it wasn't good news.

" Uh, sure," I responded as we walked through a little exit to a hallway. No one was in there besides us.

" Casey, I'm sorry for what I'm about to say. I'm breaking up with you," Rex said making my heart shatter into a million pieces. I didn't want to cry becuase I would mess up my makeup on this big night.

" Fine. How about you go home and move out of MY house! PACK YOUR BAGS AND LEAVE! I DON'T NEED YOU! YOU'RE SUCH A DICK!" I yelled as I walked out of the hallway and back to my seat next to Madi.

" Hey, what was that about?" Madi asked. I didn't want to tell her yet because I knew she would try to talk to Rex, but I didn't want her to. What's been done has been done. I feel like there is an empty part of me now.

" Oh, uh nothing!" I lied, faking a smile. I felt so empty and not loved. I need someone to love me or at least for the night. Someone who is stupid enough to fall for me.

Madi's P.O.V

I could tell there was something wrong because Rex wasn't sitting next to her. Right when I was about to ask her what was really wrong, she was called to go up onto the stage for rehearsal. It was 5:10 and the room was pretty much filled with people. And I couldn't believe who I saw. Bethany Mota. She was a few rows behind me. I almost died. The lights dimmed and Casey appeared on stage.

" Wow! There's a lot of people! Hello everybody! Welcome to my fashion show! Tonight, I will be showcasing my newest line, Bright Lights! Basically, this line is all about nights out in the town! So sit back, relax, and enjoy the show!" Casey smiled and walked off the stage.

I knew that smile anywhere. It was fake. She would always make that smile when I would ask her questions about her breakups. It was the smile that she made when one of her boyfriends broke up with her, and she didn't want to tell me. It was "that" smile.

All the outfits were amazing, and it was so cool to think that my best friend made those. She is really talented. After the show, there was an after party at a bar that wasn't that far from the place the fashion show was held. We danced the night away. I met Bethany and became really good friends. We exchanged phone numbers had a really fun time.

Joe was REALLY drunk, and he said a few things that I wish he didn't. Almost every few seconds Joe tried to makeout with me. I wasn't complaining!

I went to the bar just to get some water for Joe. When I got back I saw Casey making out with Joe. Casey never drinks, so I knew that she wasn't drunk. I knew Joe couldn't really control himself becuase he was drunk, but Casey had no exuse.

" CASEY! GET AWAY FROM MY BOYFRIEND! Why would you do this?" I yelled at Casey as I spilled the water all over her. I grabbed Alfie and the Suggs, called an Uber, and went back to Casey's house. I made everyone pack their bags as I booked our flight to California. We might as well be early for VidCon.

Joe was still very drunk. He kept trying kissing me. Once again, I wasn't complaining. Joe was so drunk that I had to pack his bags for him. We finished packing all of our bags and got dropped off at the airport.

Casey kept calling and texting me, but I just ignored them. Joe was still kind of drunk, but not that much. He kept licking my face. And I had to admit it was pretty funny. We were about to board our plane when Casey ran to us with her mascara running.

"LET ME EXPLAIN!" Casey yelled through the loud airport. I just shook my head and boarded the plane.
