Chapter 18

After Casey called 911, they told us to go back to Holly's Hollywood Tours to ask us questions. They asked us the questions at two separate times. Immediately after we finished answering the questions, I called Joe to tell him I was okay. He was so thankful and happy that I was safe. Casey and I walked back into the car and just sat there. It was so awkward. There was just pure awkwardness until I decided to break the silence.

"Is what Alex said about Rex breaking up with you true?"I asked, staring right into Casey's eyes.

"I don't want to ta-" Casey said.

" Is it true?" I asked again, this time a little ore harsher. I was just kind of upset that she didn't tell me in the first place.

"Okay, fine. It's true! Can we talk somewhere else. I don't fell safe talking in a dark alley at midnight with nothing besides this car, tissues, and magazines to protect us," Casey said, looking straight ahead on the road.

"Fine," I responded, turning on the car.

We drove all the way back to the hotel. In the car, I also found out that Alex kidnapped Casey and brought her here to make me feel bad . Now I really just wanted to strangle Alex. He is literally insane. Once we got to mine and Joe's hotel room, everyone came running in and hugging me and telling me how happy they were that I was back. Then there was Casey just standing there. There was an awkward silence until I told them that we were okay now, but we weren't best friends.

I don't know how, but just a simple hangout with our friends turned into a huge party. Tyler bought a ton of beer and some snacks from a nearby store. We turned on the speaker and danced the night away. I was so drunk and so was Joe.

After about 3 hours or so, everyone started leaving because the people who weren't drunk remembered we were at VIdCon, and we tons of meet and greets, panels, and other stuff we had to attend tomorrow. And let me tell you. Joe and I were DEFIANTLY not two of those people who were not drunk at all. Joe and I just laid on the bed with his arm around my waist and my hands playing with the hem of his shirt.

All of a sudden Joe just kissed me out of no where. Soon enough an innocent kiss turned into an intense make out session. I couldn't stop him because he is just so freaking hot! How am I supposed to pull back from him? After that, the rest of the night was just a blur.

I woke up the next morning felling sick. I ran into the bathroom and threw up. I had a massive headache and now this! Moments later, Joe woke up.

" Love, I don't fell good," I told Joe, lacing our hands together.

" You"re probably just hungover," Joe responded, trying to go back to sleep.

" You're right. But you do know we have places to be in like an hour and 30 minutes, right?" I reassured.

" I'm so tired! Can't I just go to sleep?" Joe asked.

"No! Now get ready!" I chuckled while I playfully hit Joe in the arm.

I opened my suitcase and picked out my clothes. Grabbing my phone, I walked back into the bathroom with my clothes. I hopped into the shower, singing along to the songs that were playing on my phone. Then, I did my hair and make up. For my hair, I braided two parts of it and connected them in the back.

After about an hour, there was a knock on the door. Joe ran over to the door and opened it. It was Alfie, Tyler, and Zoe. I ran over and gave them big bear hugs. Zoe being the FANTASTIC friend she is, she brought some medicine for my headache and breakfast.

"Oh my god, Zoe! Thank you! I've been so off all morning!" I thanked Zoe, giving her another big bear hug.

" Well, you can always count on me to save the day!" Zoe yelled, doing some wird pose that made us all laugh our faces off.

" Yeah yeah Batman. Let's go! We're gonna be late for the interview!" Alfie said ,pulling us all out of all the hotel as I ate my muffin.

Tyler, Bethany, Zoe, Shane Dawson, and I had an interview with HollywireT.V. Basically, HollywireT.V asked their followers on Twitter and Instagram to vote who should be at the Faces of YouTube interview. And surprisingly, tons of people chose me and the others!

When I got the email asking me if I would like to do the interview, I literally freaked out. In the email, when they said that Shane was going to be there I almost cried because he was one of the first YouTubers I ever subscribed to and watched.  He was one of the YouTubers who inspired me to make videos. I was pulled out of my thoughts when the car stopped.

" Madi! VidCon is not going to last forever. Let's go!" Tyler yelled, dragging me out of the car. We went into a secret entrance so we wouldn't get mobbed by our fans. As much as we love them, we had to get to that interview.

Tyler and I just sat on the couch and talked while Zoe and Bethany did the same. My hands were shaking so much. I was going to meet Shane Dawson! About 10 minutes later, Shane walked in.

" Shane!" Tyler greeted Shane, pulling him into a hug. Tyler was the only one who has met him.

"Hey, Tyler! You guys must be Bethany, Madi, and Zoe!" Shane said, shaking all three of our hands. When he shook my hand, they were so clammy that I basically just gave him a clam! (PsychoBabble reference!) Inside of me, I was still the little fangirl I was before I started YouTube. I couldn't say anything, so Bethany did the talking for me.

"That's us! It's so nice to meet you!" Bethany responded while I just stood there.

"I know! It's so nice to meet me! I'm just so fantabulous!" Shane joked as we all bursted into laughter. But me being the awkward fangirl I am, I laughed way too long.

"Uh, so Madi. You and Joe are a thing! The Internet basically exploded when your video went live!" Shane said, trying to kill the awkwardness.

"Um, Joe- um- found out- trending- be right back!" I stuttered running into the restroom. I just wanted to disappear, so I thought of the only thing I could. Restroom. And to add onto this, I had to throw up again. And, I was so hungry even though only an hour ago, I ate breakfast.

Only one thing could pop into my mind. Tears started flowing down my face. Mascara running everywhere. I couldn't believe it. I was way too young. I decided to push that thought behind me because I knew there had to be a different reson behind this.
