Chapter 25

I ran after Joe screaming his name. I finally got to the parking lot and searched everywhere for him. Right wen I was about to give up, I saw him in the car, sobbing. I quickly ran to the car and openned the pasenger's side door.

"What's wrong love?" I asked, scooting closer to him.

"Jane Harper. She- she told me that she loved me, then l- le- left me," Joe said with tears running down his face. My heart dropped. How could someone leave Joe?

"She left me for a stupid model. I was just used. She "dates" famous guys then dumps them. She's known for that. She just uses guys for publicity," Joe said. I kissed Joe pasionately.

"It's okay, love," I said, rubbing circles on Joe's back. It was so painful to watch Joe cry like this. She definately messed with the wrong guy.

"No it isn't! She's after my best friend!" Joe yelled, kicking random trash on the floor. Joe was right. Caspar is probably just another victim of her crime. And that reminds me we need to clean the car.

"Shhhhhhh. It's okay. We'll just talk to Caspar, but we need to stay calm,and I'll make sure she stays away from you or else she'll never see daylight again!" I said, hugging Joe.

"That's why I love you," Joe said pecking me on the cheek. We got out of the car and walked back to the apartmrnt. My feet started aching because of my heels. I guess Joe saw me struggling to walk back because we were all the way in the back of the parking lot, so he picked me up bridal style, making me giggle. I don't know how Joe went from super depressed and worried to really playful.

We fianlly got back to the apartment. Joe took s deep breathe before openning the door.

"Sorry guys. I just needed to get some fresh air. I uh haven't been feeling to good lately," Joe lied as we sat on the couch. I swear Jane was giving me an evil look the whole time she was here, but luckily, she had to leave.

I put Wild down,and said," Caspar, can Joe and I talk to you, alone?" The worried look in my face spreaded (is that a word? probably not! LOL) onto Caspar's face.

" Uh sure," Caspar said before we walked into Joe's room.

( J= Joe M= Madi C= Caspar)

J: Um, do you really know who Jane is?

C: Yeah, the most beautiful girl I've ever met.

M: But for real. Do you know what her past consists of?

C: Well. no.

J: She dates guys then break up with them for publicity.

C: Yeah right! I finally find a girl who makes me happy, and now you guys are telling me to break up with her! I know we've had complications in the past, but that doesn't mean you take a way the girls I like! Jesus you two are so self- centered!

M: Caspar! Listen to me! She's broken so many guys' hearts! She's broken Joe's before! And so many other guys!

J: Complications?

C:Wow Madi! You haven't even told Joe!

J: Told me what?

M: Caspar saved me from a car crash! That's it!

J: You didn't tell me? Wow, I thought we were going to be 100% true i this relationship!

M: Oh my god Joe! Like for real! It's not like I fucked Caspar!

J: You should have at least told me!

M: This was before our relationship! So I shouldn't be getting al this shit from you!

*arguing at the same time*

C: GUYS! That's enough! Stop fighting! Joe you're over reacting, and Madi just calm down. If what you're saying about Jane is true, I won't become a thing with her.

J: Thanks. We were just trying to help you, Caspar.

Joe's P.O.V

Pretty much everyone was asleep besides Madi and I. After Madi and I fought, we didn't talk at all. She was in my room using her phone. What Caspar said was right. I don't know why, but I was such a bitch to Madi. I guess I'm just used to being the guy to save her from harm. I decided I should apologize to her. I walked into room and opened it. Madi was on her phone.

"Hey," I said.

"Hi," Madi said very quietly.

"Love, I'm sorry I was such a dick head a while ago. I guess I felt a little weird knowing that another guy saved you, not me," I said sliding under the covers with Madi.

"It's fine," Madi said before pecking me on the cheek. She got up and walked over to the bathrrom. She found some clothes in her bag she brought to Zalfie's and put them on. I decided that I should probably give The American boys some pillows because all Caspar gave them were blankets. That's the classic Lazy South African we all know and "love".

I opened the little drawer and got 3 pillows for them. I threw them all at Tyler and he yelled," BITCH!' I tried my hardest not to laugh, so I wouldn't wake up the others. I ran down the stairs and into my room. I crawled into the covers before Madi did. She jumped onto the bed, making me chuckle. I wrapped Madi around my body and drifted asleep.
