I heard a knock on my bedroom door. "Nabi, Ishikawa's downstairs waiting for you," Hanbin's voice called from behind the door.

"I'm coming!" I shouted back, giving myself one final look in the mirror.

I didn't usually wear much makeup—just a bit of BB cream and some blush to give my skin a bit of color. But tonight, I'd made more of an effort. I opted for a soft red eyeshadow instead of eyeliner, and my favorite part was the lip oil that made my lips look even fuller and glossier.

I had decided to wear my hair down, with soft waves cascading over my shoulders.

Tonight, I felt truly beautiful.

I gave myself a mental high-five and headed downstairs to meet Yuki.

As I descended the stairs, I spotted Yuki waiting for me at the bottom, holding a bouquet of flowers in one hand and a small gift bag in the other.

He looked stunning, dressed in a sleek black suit paired with a crisp white shirt.

His hair, styled a little differently tonight, was more polished, adding a touch of elegance to his usual look.

He's so fucking handsome tonight, what if I got down on my knees now...

The moment his eyes met mine, it was as if time stopped.

His gaze was intense, practically devouring me with admiration.

He didn't need to say anything—his expression said it all. I could feel the heat of his stare, making my heart race.

He looked me up and down, lingering on every detail of my long black velvet dress, his lips curling into a subtle, almost breathless smile.

As Yuki saw me reach the bottom of the stairs, he stepped forward, eyes locked on me. "You look absolutely stunning," he breathed out, his voice low and full of admiration. "That dress... it's driving me insane."

I smiled, feeling a rush of warmth at his words. "Oh, you like it?" I teased, turning slowly to show him the back of the dress, where the velvet dipped down into a near backless design.

His gaze darkened, the playful glint in his eyes replaced by something more intense, but before either of us could say anything more, Hanbin, who was also dressed sharply in an elegant suit, cleared his throat from behind us. "Ahem," he said, reminding us that we weren't alone. "I think you should be thanking me, Yuki. After all, I picked out that dress," Hanbin smirked, clearly pleased with his choice.

Yuki blinked, momentarily brought back to the present, and gave Hanbin a nod of appreciation. "Well, then I owe you a huge thank you, Hanbin," he said, though his eyes were still very much focused on me.

Yuki then handed me the bouquet and the small gift bag he'd been holding. "Happy birthday, Nabi," he said softly, his smile warm and sincere.

I took the gift bag, opening it to reveal a delicate gold necklace with a circular pendant. I pulled it out carefully, my breath catching as I saw the details—a butterfly etched into the circle with a small diamond embedded in the center. It was simple, elegant, and absolutely beautiful.
