“Whipp-y… Cream-y?” The short, cerulean blue container repeated, sounding a bit confused.

“...yeah…” Airy nodded in confirmation, wincing slightly as the baby tomato in his arms reached over and yanked on his side wire.

“That… doesn’t sound right.” Whippy Creamy protested with a hint of exasperation.

“It’s your name…” Airy stated matter-of-factly, distracted by the wriggling baby in his arms. Tomato was a lot more active then he used to be. Airy was… saddened by the thought he had changed without him there… He was heavier too.

“Alright, so, does everyone know their names now?” Backpack asked, trying to keep track.

“Yeah, but I have a question.” Atom hopped forward. “For Airy.”

“...y-yes..?” Airy attempted to answer as he struggled to prevent Tomato from grabbing at the shiny - but sharp - broken glass on the side of his face.

“We are all named after what we are, so why are you named after air?” Atom questioned curiously.

“Uhhh…” Airy mumbled, finally giving up and setting Tomato down on the soft, warm grass. The restless green baby looked up at the lantern with wide, betrayed eyes, and immediately began to bawl, arms stretched up as cried to be picked up again.

Airy instantly scooped the child back up, but held him out at arms length, trying to keep as much distance between the baby and his face as possible… He was going to have to figure out something to cover the sharp edges with…

“I need to.. go for a minute…” Airy announced, unintentionally ignoring Atom’s question as he strode off towards the cabin, holding out the little Tomato who was struggling to reach for Airy’s face.

The remaining objects watched in helpless confusion as Airy, the only one who knew anything about this place, left. No one knew what to do now. They had no idea what this place was or if there were any dangers lurking in the shadows. They huddled together in small groups, murmuring among themselves as they waited for Airy’s return.

Whippy Creamy approached the strange, tiny triangle who was bold enough to ask questions. “Hey dude, uh… bummer Airy didn’t answer you. It was a good question.”

“Oh it’s fine. I’m used to being ignored… I don’t mind!” Atom replied, trying to sound cheerful, though his voice carried undertones of dejection.

Whippy Creamy furrowed his brows, “That’s kinda not cool. Why are you ignored?”

“Oh it’s just because I’m small. People can’t see me very well and my voice isn’t very loud… really it’s fine though. Again I’m pretty used to it.” A little more of the sadness began to shine through his happy-go-lucky mask, along with a dull sort of acceptance.
