Sup' Edgelings!
WOOHOO!!!!! I'm kicking my writer's block into the next dimension HECK YEAH!!!! The inspiration is back babaaaaay! Anywho... I think I'm getting the gist of writing the Batch 2 characters! I struggle with them because there's not a lot to go off of in the canon... I'm honestly loving this multi-character interaction style writing! It's different and is certainly taking a minute to get used to lol.
Anyway, enjoy!

Airy, who had been walking back toward the waterfall meadow, instantly spun around at the sound of her scream. Backpack and Scenty fell quickly and knelt beside her, helplessly watching as blood poured from the injury.
"Are you ok?!?!" Scenty exclaimed worriedly.
"Of course I'm ok! It's just a small cut!" She defended, cradling her hand, hiding it out of embarrassment.
"That's not a small cut!" Backpack protested. "You need to get that seen about!"
"I SAID I'M FINE!" she shouted, her hands instinctively clenching into fists, causing her to wince and gasp in pain as the gash opened up further.
Airy walked up, eye widened at the sight of blood staining the grass. He knelt in front of her, holding his own hand out, palm up, "Let me... see it..."
"I'm FINE..." she growled, though there was less certainty in her voice as she watched the blood continue to well up.
With the same monotone determination, Airy repeated, "Let me... see it..."
Moldy hesitated, then with a huff of defeat, she caved and reached out her wounded hand, gingerly laying it on top of Airy's outstretched palm. The rough calluses on his weathered hands rubbed against the back of her hand as he gently examined it. He proceeded to reach over with his thumb, holding the gash shut and applying a steady amount of pressure to stop the bleeding.
"Uh, Backpack?" Airy addressed, causing said object to peel his gaze from the ghastly sight, "I need you to, uh... get resin..."
"Resin?" Backpack questioned with a desperate gleam in his eyes, willing to do anything to help.
"Pine sap..." AIry clarified, "You can, uh... help him if you want, Scenty..."
"On it!" Backpack scrambled to get the necessary material.
Scenty hesitated, not wanting to leave Moldy's side, "What do you need the pine sap for?"
"To, uh... seal it... I don't have thread for, uh... stitches..." Airy explained, still staring at the deep cut, pondering what to do next. "Moldy, could you... show me the rock... you used?"
"Sure..." Moldy nodded, her tough facade slowly disintegrating as the adrenaline faded and the true pain began to set in. She reached over with her good hand and grabbed the rock laying beside her, holding it out for Airy to see.
"Dirty..." he mumbled to himself as he eyed the stone. Then with a decisive nod, he told her, "Uh... stand up..."
Moldy struggled to her feet, refusing Airy's other hand, outstretched to pull her up. "I can at least do this myself..." she murmured bitterly.
Scenty, who still lingered close, watched with concern, "Where are you going?"
"To the, uh... stream," Airy responded, walking away as he spoke, Moldy's wounded hand still cupped in his own.
