As the sun streamed through the kitchen window the next day, Kavya bounced around with excitement, her heart racing at the thought of revealing her big news to Abhay. She had spent the morning cooking his favorite breakfast, trying to create the perfect atmosphere to announce her pregnancy.

Kavya (muttering to herself):
"Okay, it's just breakfast... but it's going to be the best breakfast ever!"

She added a flourish of chocolate chips to the pancakes, envisioning Abhay's reaction when he would see the special touches. As she flipped the pancakes, she daydreamed about how Abhay would react when he found out he was going to be a father.

Kavya (grinning):
"Maybe I'll film his reaction. I bet he'll just stare at me like a deer in headlights!"

When Abhay finally sauntered into the kitchen, still half-asleep and sporting his favorite mismatched pajamas, Kavya couldn't suppress her smile.

Kavya:
"Good morning, sleepyhead! How did you sleep?"

Abhay (yawning):
"Like a rock... or maybe more like a rock that was occasionally rolled over. What's cooking? It smells amazing!"

She set a plate piled high with pancakes in front of him, garnished with a rainbow of fresh fruits and a drizzle of syrup.

Kavya:
"Just a little surprise breakfast, my love!"

He took a big bite, eyes lighting up in delight.

Abhay:
"This is incredible! What's the occasion? Did I win the lottery and forget about it?"

Kavya (teasing):
"Not quite. You'll find out soon. Just enjoy the food!"

As he devoured the pancakes, Kavya tried to subtly drop hints about her news.

Kavya:
"You know, life is about to get a lot more interesting around here."

Abhay (still chewing):
"Interesting? Like you've decided to take up extreme ironing as a hobby? Because I have to warn you, I'm not ready for that level of excitement."

Kavya giggled, her eyes sparkling with mischief.

As the day wore on, Kavya kept up the playful banter, dropping hints here and there. She casually mentioned how much she enjoyed their time together and how their bond was becoming even stronger.

Kavya:
"Do you feel like something big is about to happen in our lives?"

Abhay (scratching his head):
"Are you hinting at a surprise vacation? Because I'm totally down for a trip to the beach! I need some sun on my face and sand in my toes!"

Kavya facepalmed, trying to suppress her laughter.

As evening approached, Kavya transformed their living room into a romantic wonderland, draping fairy lights and lighting candles that flickered softly. She even arranged a tiny gift box, ready to reveal the news in the most delightful way.

When Abhay finally arrived home, he was struck by the cozy ambiance.

Abhay:
"Wow, what's all this? Did I forget a special date or something?"

Kavya could barely contain her excitement.

Kavya:
"No, silly! Just a little something for us to celebrate!"

She gestured for him to sit down, her heart racing as she presented the gift box. Abhay looked at her curiously, his eyebrows furrowed in concentration.

Abhay:
"What's in the box? Is it a puppy? Because if it's a puppy, I'm so ready to be a dad!"

Kavya:
"Open it and find out!"
