The third trimester was proving to be the hardest yet, but Abhay and Kavya were handling it together, one day at a time. The exhaustion from the physical toll of pregnancy had taken its hold on Kavya, but she still tried to push through, determined to enjoy every moment of this special time.

Kavya: groaning softly as she adjusted her position on the couch "I think the baby's decided to take up permanent residence in my ribs now."

Abhay, who was sitting beside her, glanced up from his phone with a concerned look.

Abhay: gently "Do you want me to get you anything? A pillow? Some water?"

Kavya gave him a tired smile, appreciating the concern.

Kavya: with a soft laugh "A time machine to take me to the delivery room?"

Abhay chuckled, but there was no mistaking the underlying concern in his eyes. The past few months had been a whirlwind of emotions, and they both felt the weight of what was coming next. But in this moment, it was just the two of them—focused on the baby and the journey they were on.

Kavya: sighing "I can't believe we're this close now. I still feel like I'm not ready."

Abhay: looking at her intently "We're as ready as we'll ever be. We've got each other, and we've got our family. We can do this."

Kavya's heart swelled at his words. He had been her rock throughout the pregnancy, and now, with just weeks to go, she knew that nothing would change. He was there for her in every way.

The doorbell rang, signaling the arrival of the team for their usual family gathering. Abhay helped Kavya to her feet, steadying her as she walked to the door. She was slower now, feeling the weight of the pregnancy, but she wasn't alone. Abhay was always right there beside her, holding her hand, ready to support her in every way.

Ishan: grinning as he walked in "How's my favorite pregnant woman doing today?"

Kavya smiled and gave him a playful glare.

Kavya: sarcastically "Oh, you know. Just living the dream of being kicked from the inside."

The team erupted in laughter, but Ishan, ever the joker, didn't miss a beat.

Ishan: teasing "Better you than me!"

Ritika: walking in behind Ishan, concerned "How are you really doing, Kavya? How's the baby?"

Kavya: tiredly, but with a soft smile "Baby's good, just making my body their new home for now."

The wives gathered around, offering help with whatever Kavya might need—water, snacks, a comfortable pillow for the couch, or just a quiet space. It wasn't long before Kavya felt the familiar flutter of the baby, a reminder that, despite the discomfort, she wasn't alone in this.

Ritika: sitting next to her "I remember being this big, and I couldn't even sit without feeling like I'd explode!"

Kavya: laughing "I swear, my stomach is going to pop any second."

As the conversation continued, Abhay stood in the corner, watching the women chat and support Kavya. His chest tightened, overwhelmed with the emotions of seeing his wife surrounded by love. He knew this wasn't going to be easy for her, but the support of the team, their extended family, was something he hadn't expected. It was a reminder that they were in this together.
