Rohit: clapping loudly "Arre waah! Abhay, you didn't waste any time, huh? First baby already! Congratulations, yaar."
Virat: grinning mischievously "Rohit, let's not pretend you didn't have a hand in pushing these 'family vibes.' I told you, the honeymoon advice was too good!"
Kavya: blushing "Guys, stop embarrassing him! He's been over the moon since we found out."
Abhay: grinning sheepishly "Of course! I mean, I'll be a dad! But, honestly, I have no idea how to handle all this."
MS Dhoni: calm and wise, leaning back "Relax, Abhay. First rule of parenting—don't panic. And keep plenty of diapers. Trust me, you'll thank me later."
Ishan: excitedly interrupting "Diapers? Abhay bhai, are they like cricket pads but smaller?"
Jadeja: rolling his eyes "Ishan, why are you like this? Stop confusing him!"
Kavya: laughing "At this rate, Ishan might need lessons in babysitting too."
Rahul: smiling warmly "Don't worry, Kavya. If you need anything, just call. I'm great with calming nerves and... crying babies."
Hardik: mock-serious "Don't trust Rahul. He'll just give your baby motivational speeches. I, on the other hand, will teach them swag. That's all the baby needs."
Surya: smirking "Hardik, they don't need swag, they need a good night's sleep. Kavya, if Abhay doesn't let you rest, let me know. I'll babysit him instead."
Abhay: mock-offended "Excuse me! I'm very responsible!"
Rohit: chuckling "Yeah, we'll see when the baby cries at 3 a.m. Bet you'll be running to Kavya asking, 'What do we do now?'"
Virat: thoughtfully "Kavya, I'll make sure Abhay has a strict fitness routine. A fit dad is a happy dad."
Kavya: teasingly "Thanks, Virat. Maybe start with calming yourself first, though!"
Ishan: seriously "But Kavya bhabhi, what does the baby want to eat? Chips? Ice cream? I'll get it right now!"
Kavya: laughing "Ishan, the baby isn't even born yet. But ice cream sounds good, actually."
Abhay: nervously "She's been craving so many things. Last night, she wanted watermelon at 1 a.m. Where am I supposed to find watermelon at that time?"
Jasprit: deadpan "You're going to learn, Abhay. Never question a pregnant lady's cravings. Never."
Shreyas: smirking "And always have snacks stocked up. That's your new powerplay strategy."
Rohit: patting Abhay's shoulder "Don't worry, kiddo. You've got the best team in the world to back you up. And remember, any advice you need, ask Dhoni bhai. He's got all the hacks."
MS Dhoni: smiling softly "You two will be fine. Just enjoy the journey. And don't forget to call me when the little one arrives—I'll bring the gifts."
Kavya: grinning "Thanks, everyone. I think we're in safe hands with all of you."
Hardik: dramatic "Safe? We're more than safe. Your baby already has the coolest extended family in the world!"
The room fills with laughter as the team continues to cheer Abhay and Kavya on, throwing suggestions, teasing, and making plans for the future.
Kavya is seated on the couch, looking pale and tired, while Abhay nervously hovers around her with a glass of water in one hand and her favorite blanket in the other. The excitement of the pregnancy announcement has faded a little as the reality of the first trimester's challenges sets in.
Kavya: groaning softly "Abhay, I don't think I can eat anything. Just the smell of food makes me feel sick."
Abhay: panicking slightly "But you haven't eaten all day, Kavya! The doctor said you need to stay hydrated and eat something nutritious."
Kavya: pulling the blanket over her face "I know, but I can't even look at food without wanting to throw up."
Abhay: sitting down beside her "Okay, okay. What if I make some plain toast? Or maybe just some fruit? Please, Kavya, you have to try."
Kavya: sighing "Fine, maybe toast. But no butter. And don't burn it this time!"
Abhay: rushing to the kitchen "Got it! Toast with no butter and no 'burnt flavor.' Coming right up!"
A while later, Abhay returns with a plate of plain toast. Kavya takes a bite but immediately grimaces.
Kavya: pushing the plate away "I can't do it, Abhay. I'm sorry."
Abhay: rubbing his forehead "It's okay, it's okay. I'll figure something else out. Maybe soup? Or crackers?"
Kavya: tears welling up "Abhay, I feel so useless. I can't eat, I can't sleep, and I feel like I'm failing already."
Abhay: immediately sitting closer, taking her hand "Hey, don't say that. You're doing so much already—just carrying our baby is incredible. I'll handle the rest. We'll figure this out together, okay?"
Kavya: sniffling "I just didn't expect it to be this hard. Everyone makes it sound so magical."
Abhay: smiling softly "I think the magic comes later, Kavya. Right now, it's more like... training for a big match. Tough, but worth it."
Desperate for advice, Abhay calls Rohit late in the evening.
Abhay: frantic "Rohit bhai, Kavya isn't eating, and she feels miserable. What do I do?"
Rohit Sharma: calmly "Relax, Abhay. Ritika went through the same thing with Sammy. First trimester is rough, but you've got to be patient. Try bland foods—boiled potatoes, rice, bananas. And keep ginger ale or lemon water for the nausea."
Abhay: taking notes "Boiled potatoes. Lemon water. Got it. Anything else?"
Rohit Sharma: chuckling "Yeah, don't take it personally if she gets cranky. Just listen and do what she says. Trust me, it works."
Abhay: grateful "Thanks, Rohit bhai. I really needed this."

The next day, the team decides to visit Abhay and Kavya to offer support.
Ishan: bursting in with a bag of snacks "Kavya bhabhi, I brought all your cravings! Chips, chocolates, mangoes—oh, and a watermelon just in case!"
Kavya: managing a small laugh "Thanks, Ishan, but cravings haven't kicked in yet. It's more like... survival mode."
Jasprit: placing a gentle hand on her shoulder "Hang in there, bhabhi. It gets better. And Abhay, stop looking so stressed. You're supposed to make her feel calm, not mirror her panic."
Rahul: handing Kavya a flask "This is some ginger tea my mom used to make. It helps with nausea. Let me know if it works."
Hardik: grinning "And if it doesn't, I'll bring you something cooler next time—like a pizza party."
Kavya: smiling faintly "You guys are the best. I think I just need rest and time."
Abhay: nodding "And I'll be here, figuring it all out."
Rohit: patting Abhay on the back "Good. That's what a team is for—on and off the field. You're not alone in this, Abhay."
Kavya feels a little more reassured as the team helps lighten the mood. Despite the challenges, Abhay and Kavya realize they have a strong support system to lean on
