One morning, Emily approached me.
"Alex, what's going on with you and Jamie?" she asked.
I shrugged.
"Just friends."
Emily raised an eyebrow.
"Really?"

"Hey," he said.

We walked together to our lockers.
"Want to grab lunch today?" Jamie asked.
"Sure."
