As the lunch bell rang, Jamie approached us.
"Hey, Alex," he said, "want to study together tonight?"
I exchanged a glance with Emily, who raised an eyebrow.
"Sure," I replied.
Jamie smiled.
"Great.
I'll pick you up at 6."
Emily nudged me.
"Study date?" she whispered.
I shrugged.
"Maybe."
As Jamie walked away, Emily leaned in.
"He's into you, Alex."
I rolled my eyes.
"Emily."
But a part of me wondered...
I spent the evening wondering about Jamie invitation or was Emily right
As 6:o clock approach ,I freshened up and grabbed my books
Jamie arrived promptly smiling at me
Hey he said,opening the car door
Hey I replied feeling a flutter
We drove to a quite cafe,where we settled in a cozy area
Jamie bought out his note ,and we dig in
As we worked our legs touched each other
Accidentally or intentionally,I couldn't help but notice how he glance at me
Later on, our studies turn into laughter and easy conversation
Before we know it,the cafe was closed ,and he decided we should grab an ice cream
