I couldn't shake off Tiffany's warning.
Why did she feel threatened?
And what did she mean by "Jamie's mine"?
I spotted Jamie across the hallway, laughing with friends.
My confusion deepened.
Should I talk to him about Tiffany's warning?
As I pondered, Emily approached.
"Hey, what's wrong?" she asked, noticing my expression.
I filled her in on Tiffany's confrontation.
Emily frowned.
"Tiffany's always been possessive."
"But Jamie and I are just friends," I emphasized.
Emily shrugged.
"Maybe Tiffany sees something we don't."
I considered Emily's words.
Was there something between Jamie and Tiffany?
