Chapter Thirty-Six

"Do we know who sent it?" demanded Sicheng as he stood there in his mother's office, beside the chair his girl was sitting in. He kept his eyes locked onto the small group in front of him because besides him and his girl, Yeon, Wei, his mother and her grandfather were in the room. He had to order the rest of the team to stay at the base as it had been given the all clear.

"In a way, yes and then no." began Yeon with a calm, even tone as he crossed arms as everyone's eyes locked onto him. "It's being investigated quietly by me, a few others that I completely trust, Ju Taio and your Uncle also offered his help in tracking them down. We need to keep this as quiet as possible because as far as that person knows? Their plan simply failed and the package never made it to Yao. Wei silenced the news on her end. Till further notice, it will be easier said than done? But it has to remain quiet on all channels. Taio, took the device apart himself and analyzed the entire thing, it's not professionally made, far from it but they did know what they were doing." nodded Yeon calmly as he spoke looking at everyone before him but kept an eye on his niece as she was still pale and gritted his teeth. Someone was going to fucking pay even if he had to contact some of his less law abiding contacts that he remained on good standing with despite having once worked in the DA's office.

"Who is your suspect?" demanded Lan as she narrowed her eyes. She herself was more than damn well furious because not only someone had put her future daughter in law in danger but the bastards had put her children in goddamn danger and that was not going to be let go.

"We suspect it's the same person that tried to start the rumors online in blaming Yao's and Cheng's relationship on why K and Mao were fighting. However, what we have found out? She's 19 years old and repeated a school year. She is not the one behind the idea but she sure as hell was used to send it. Till we know who is behind her sending the package? We can not make a move on her, it might cause whoever is responsible to go underground and that is not something I am willingly to risk...granted I would still be able to find them, it would just be a hell of a lot harder in locating them." nodded Yeon as he explained further and noted they were not relaxed but they understood his words.

"Till further notice? You, Hsia Yao, are to not go anywhere alone period. Someone will always be with you. Kimiko is now to always be at the Arena and will be sitting in the audience as well while you are on stage." commanded Wei as she still shot a cold look to her brother for putting her on lock down for the entire goddamn weekend with getting Ming's help to put her on said damn lock down!

"I understand, mom." nodded Yao with a soft sigh as she moved, rubbing her forehead as she was feeling drained, tired and really wanted a nap. She was wondering when they were all goddamn going to catch a break from someone deciding to be a damn idiot. However, she moved, placing her hand on Sicheng's hand as he placed it on her shoulder with a comforting squeeze.
