Chapter 13: Dumb Sunflowers and a Past shared

Summary: Due to a certain Sunflower, Yao is forced to reveal what had happened between her and him that was the final nail in the coffin of their relationship. Though said Sunflower had better pray that he has learned his lesson and stays away from Yao or a certain Chessman will not be held responsible for any broken stems that may happen.

Chapter Thirteen

MadamLu: Seriously Lu Si Cheng? You could not have waited till the blind date before staking your claim?

Stingy-Possessive-Relentless-Brat: Are you really surprised?

Sicheng sighed as he answered his mother's text message as he walked down the stairs to the lower level and snorted at what she had changed his name to...he had the urge to change hers but thought better of it considering despite how he always went against her, especially when she truly became overbearing...he had no desire to piss off his mother. He was not henpecked no...but like most damn children or should he say most people that knew his mother? He had a healthy dose of respect and fear for the woman that gave birth to him, not the overbearing woman but the woman that ran a multi-billion dollar damn empire, who made sure everyone knew that if you messed with anything that belonged to her? You would end up in ruins.

MadamLu: No, I am not because I know you, Lu Si Cheng, when you have set your mind to something...especially something you are dead set on claiming as yours? You are headstrong, relentless and damn near unstoppable. This is why I am warning you to be careful especially with Hsia Yao, in not hurting her. She is a good one...one of the very rare genuine loving, compassionate good ones, Sicheng.

Stingy-Possessive-Relentless-Brat: I know. I don't ever plan to hurt and will end up destroying anyone that dares to try Mama. I know she has been hurt in the past and I know it's going to take time to make her realize that there is not a damn thing wrong with her.

MadamLu: Good. Furthermore, something I noticed about her at her graduation party and from speaking with Hsia Wei. That girl is an over-thinker. For work ethic, fantastic thing to be but for someone in their day to day life, especially considering that piece of a work that calls herself, her mother? She will be her own worst enemy. I can almost say with 100% positivity that that pretty little girl is probably already thinking to herself that there will never be anything in between you two and that you are out of her league.

Stingy-Possessive-Relentless-Brat: I know. She already confessed this to her best friend and her best friend's elder sister, who is the one that told me all this and a little more.

Sicheng sighed and shook his head as his mother did not reply back but knew received his answer and was pleased with it because she would have told him if she was not. Putting his phone down, he locked his whiskey amber eyes on the dozing female on the couch that he had just been talking about with his mother and swallowed hard. He knew it was going to be one hell of an uphill battle probably in getting her to see that there was not a damn thing wrong with her nor was there anything he would ever change about her. But there was no way hell, he was ever letting her go unless she truly and utterly did not want to be with him. Shaking his head, he turned and went to sit at his computer to play ranks some more because he knew he was lacking some hours still.
