Chapter 37: Xiamen and revealing conversation

Summary: Back in Xiamen, to get away from the trouble in Shenzhen, our two teams and extra people try to plan some relaxation and everyone's temper is spiked with nearly sending it over the edge as all the ones involved in the bomb(s) are revealed.

Chapter Thirty-Seven

"Everyone knows what the plan is?" frowned Yeon as he looked at them all before leveling a look onto his twin as she was staring out the bay window. "Wei?" he asked once more as she sighed and turned to face him with a dark look reflecting in her eyes.

"You have one shot to do this your way because if it fails? I am doing this my way Hsia Yeon and you will not get in my way." warned Wei in a dark tone as she glared at her twin as he swallowed hard at her words.

"Wei..." tried Taio but stopped as she raised her hand at him with a darker look as she stepped towards them.

"Someone is literally trying to hurt my goddamn kids...someone is trying to hurt or kill Yao. You both have one chance Yeon and only one chance in doing this your way before I step in and do it my fucking way. Do you understand me?" snapped out Wei in a dark tone as she glared at her twin with warning to not cross her.

"Very well. Let's get this done. I want this to be over by the time our kids get back home to Shenzhen. I don't need to fucking deal with two homicidal people just because people want to be dumbasses in targeting our family especially Yao." sighed Yeon with a grimace because both his sister and Lu Si Cheng were damn near on warpaths and it was bad enough that the man kept his word not leaving Yao's side but was working from behind the scenes in ending this as well on his end. Not to mention that his twin was about to shed her personnel that she showed everyone and become who she once was...hell he was about to say screw it and let the underworld have at it because his old friend's father had offered his own help.

"Sooo, what should we do first?" grinned Jinyang as she was trying to lighten the mood as they were hanging out in the living room of the penthouse. Madam Wang and her Ba had rented out the entire top floor of the most prestigious and not to forget guarded hotel. No one could get to the floor unless they had a key and the code.

"I have plans to finish the latest book that my Xiōngdì (brother) has been helping me to finish up actually." spoke up Yao as she was sitting cross legged on a small sofa with Sicheng right beside her with her laptop already perched on a pillow on her lap with her eyes focused on the screen.

"Right, that means the great Captain will be sticking with you. Mia-Jia?" asked Jinyang as she kept her mouth shut in pushing her best friend to do something else especially as Cheng gave her a warning look. Besides, she could see how stressed out her bestie had been all during the flight (even on the private jet) and last night when they got into the city. So, right now if editing and finishing up her newest book was going to help bring her peace of mind? Then so be it.
