Chapter 23: A dragon learns what it means to regret and a ball is announced!

Summary: The Match with DQ-5 is here and the Fate of a certain Dragon Jungler comes full circle...and he learns a very valuable lesson...a ball gets announced with a certain Chessman finding out he had missed the chance in meeting his girl before she joined his team!

Chapter Twenty-Three

"Rules." started Ming with a serious tone as they were in the lounge and gave them all a very serious look especially their girl. "You are to go no where alone, Hsia Yao. Miss Suki, from HQ here will be going with you to the bathroom as well. We don't want to give Xu Tailum a chance if we can help to get to you encase he has it in his mind to target you here." he wanted as the female frowned some before she nodded her head as the woman beside her placed hand on her shoulder with a comforting look.

"Let's hope he's not a dumbass and tries anything, especially if you are not alone." grumbled Yue with a scowl as the others nodded in agreement with his words. He was just relieved that his mother had HQ release a statement for the reason why he was playing in place of the Salt Maiden...though he was wondering what the other side will think, when he kicks ass using Twisted Fate, one of the Salt Maiden's Specialties.

"If he was stupid enough to do what he had done in the first place, including targeting her at the animal market and trying once more at the theater, when she was with me? We can not take any risks. Yao, I know you would rather fight back in any way you know how? But for once, Kitten use the one damn weapon a woman has when she has been cornered and can not run." ordered Sicheng in a cold voice that said he was not to be argued and sighed as she frowned in confusion at him before he pointed to his throat as she gained a look of realization on her face.

"It would work Yao-er, screaming. Considering the only time he is going to be able to maybe get to her is on break or after the game somehow." nodded Lao K to the female as she bit her bottom lip and nodded her head to him.

"I won't leave her side either." nodded Suki Yoko with a calm look on her face while the others nodded with wary looks.

"Come on we need to get out there, that door goes locked Yao-er, especially when Rui-ge and I are not in this room with you both." nodded Ming with a serious look before he ruffled her hair as she nodded her head to him.

"Go, I am safe as I can be, Devil Spawn. I promise, I won't hesitate to run nor scream if something happens. No unnecessary risks for me...besides not only you but I am pretty sure the entire team plus everyone else I know will kick my ass if I did take any and not running or screaming." shooed Yao as she grabbed and squeezed her worried boyfriend's hand as he looked conflicted. She was tough but she was not stupid and would try to keep her promise.

"Truth!" came from outside, causing her to laugh softly and her captain slash boyfriend to smirk.

"We'll be done soon enough." nodded Sicheng as he kissed her forehead as she shooed him once more towards the door.
