Chapter 7
"Skirmish with TAT, to go against A'tei just because he challenged us in an interview?" frowned Yao as she stared at the manager and tilted her head even further to the side as they were in the meeting room and eyed the man.
"Yes. HQ is not really pleased that he is calling us cowards because we have not accepted the skirmish match with them." nodded Rui-ge as he was really hoping the girl agreed with him because if anyone could get the Captain to change his mind it was her...considering the Board was already issuing an acceptance statement, that they accepted the challenge.
"What did the Captain say to this, Rui-ge? Because Cheng-ge is the Captain and has the final say about this sort of thing. He is the one who makes the decision besides Ming Shen on the training matches we have and I don't think he will be pleased to see you bringing this to me and not him...unless you already did and he said no?" She asked the male with disapproval written in her tone and on her face as the Manager looked uncomfortable and had a feeling her hunch was true along with having a feeling that the man was falling back into old behaviors in bending his knee constantly to the board. She was really going to have to have a talk with her uncle about him coaching the man to have a stronger spine or ask her Aunt to do something that will make the board really think twice.
