Chapter Thirty-Eight

"There will be no settling, period. Their 19 year old daughter might not have been the one to make said bomb but she still sent one to my niece." retorted Yeon in an icy tone as he glared at the police commissioner before him with Lan on one side of him and his father on the other side of him wearing icy looks.

"She's only 19." protested the mother with a pale look on her face as she could not believe that her daughter sent a bomb...it was horrifying to her.

"And she could be considered a terrorist." snapped out Lan icily freezing everyone with her words as she glared darkly at the woman before her.

"That is very true, indeed Madam Lu. We are lucky the government is letting us handle this instead of getting involved." grimaced the Police commissioner as he could scarcely believe that the damn 19 year old female had actually sent a bomb in the damn mail to someone!

"I am pressing for full charges." spoke up Yichen with a darkened tone as he leveled a dark look onto the parents before as he stood there straight with his hands resting together onto his cane. Though, he really thinks the female should be thankful his daughter was not here considering she was handling the other fools.

"Xiao JieJie, they have dark chocolate covered oranges!" called out Pang to the female as she perked up and immediately came to his side with a delighted look on her face.

"You surprise me, Light. I would think you would be back home handling what happened personally." commented Kun Hyeok in Korean with a curious look to the man as his own younger brother, (who showed up the other day out of the blue to the annoyance of his best friend and his entertainment) followed after Yao...making him nearly snort as his brother had formed an attachment to the female with calling her constantly Yao-Noona.

"If you think, I don't have a hand in getting things done on my end? You do not know me at all Kun Hyeok. Trust me, I know exactly how they all are paying and I know exactly how I am going to make a certain Sunflower pay for his hand in this." murmured Sicheng as he kept his eyes locked onto his girl as she was sharing some food with Pang and Kun. At the last one, despite what the others believed he was not as displeased at the appearance of the male as some might think. Kun might be an annoying little shit sometimes but said male had a military training just like his elder brother and would not hesitate to put someone on their ass in defense of his girl, as the boy had informed him of such.

"Speaking of which, my father has informed me that both were found and picked up with now being held in a secure place." Kun Hyeok smirked with a touch of cold darkness reflecting in his eyes as Chessman glanced at him with a brief amused pleased look in his own eyes.
