Chapter 2: Realizations. Arriving at the Base. Meeting the Lawyer Aunt.

Overly helpful people that are annoying. Arriving at the base. Misogynistic contracts/board members and a overprotective Lawyer for an Aunt.

Chapter Two

"Are you sure we can't help you, little Miss?" asked a random male of Tong Yao as she got off the bus and twitched as she glanced at him and shook her head no.

"No thank you, I can manage on my own." waved Tong Yao with a twitch as she was fighting back a rude mark and tried to tug her suitcase back from the male as he had helped her get it off the bus. Though, she blinked as she was startled as a hand touched her shoulder before the suitcase was grabbed by another and turned her head. Her dark eyes widened as she locked them with the cold honey amber brown colored eyes of the Captain of her new team before tilting her head and saw Lao K was there as he was the one to grab her suitcase.

"She has help." remarked Lao K coldly as he stared the man down. Both he and his Captain were really not pleased as they saw the way the male was acting towards her, not taking no for an answer. He was glad he had decided to come with the Captain after he decided he would pick their female teammate up. He felt a surge of what could only be called probably an elder brother's over-protectiveness (towards a younger sibling you actually liked) when the small female had got off the bus trying to fend off some unknown males. He nearly swore an oath as he was seeing the trouble that Lao Mao had pointed out they were going to have in keeping unwanted males...and females as he saw some of them actually eying the female with interest at her sheepish shy smile, away from their Mid. He really felt overprotective of her as for the last week she and he had been messaging almost non-stop one another and they had played a couple of Duos with one another this last week with his own alternate ID.

"Come on." sighed Sicheng as he was mentally coming to the same conclusion Lao K was coming to about their Mid and gave the strange males a dark look as he moved, guiding the female from the bus stop to his car. He had reacted before he could think as he saw her having trouble with that blasted man and stepped in to help her with Lao K glaring as well at the man that could not take no for answer. He felt really overprotective of the small female that was his new teammate and possessive of the fact some idiot was trying to pick up his Mid. It looked as if he and the others were going to have to be the assholes because it seemed that their girl? Was too nice for her own good.

"Thanks!" smiled Tong Yao to them both as they both nodded back to her and allowed them to guide her to the Maserati car and rolled her eyes at the expensive vehicle but resigned to the fact of being surrounded by rich people as Jinyang was the same way.

"Don't mention it. You're our teammate. We look out for one another." nodded Lao K though he hid a smirk as Cheng-e ordered her to get in the front as he slid into the back after putting her stuff into the trunk. He could clearly see the Captain was forming a fast attachment to their only female teammate because he never let anyone sit in the front of his car...he has never gone out of his way before in picking someone up either in his beloved car. He was finding it entertaining that he and Ming Shen were correct in their assumption that the Captain was feeling protective and possessive of their girl already but had not come to his own decision yet."We are going to hit the shopping stores before going to the base for you to get some stuff to decorate your room, you should really thank the Captain, he prevented Xiao Pang from decorating your room in all pink...with a princess Canopy included." he snickered as the female whipped her head around with an alarmed look on her face as she paled at the thought. "I think his cutting remark made the rest of them back off. It was: Have any of you idiots actually been in a girl's room that's not your sisters or mothers." he added as she looked briefly amused/dismayed at his words and his Captain rolled his eyes.
