Rebecca:

It's been a month of pure bliss with Jordan. He makes me feel worthy, beautiful and special. He told me he doesn't do romance; yet within the month we've been dating I have been romanced pretty much everyday. Yes his work hours are hard to adjust to, but I already feel so proud of him for how he's changing companies for the better.
It's now Friday evening and I've told Cara to go home a couple of hours early for the weekend. Tonight I want to romance Jordan, make him the perfect dinner and help him relax after the busy week he's had. I make him chicken with bacon wrapped around and melted cheese with mash potato and broccoli. I would have gone for peas, but knowing his past I know he can't handle them. I also prepare a dish of Mac and cheese, because I know that's his favourite. I look over and laugh at the sight of my daughter. I gave her the job of mixing the chocolate cake mix together and instead she's sitting there licking the spoon with most of the chocolate around her face.
"You're so messy young lady!" I tell her and she just giggles more. I put the cake in the oven and quickly give Sienna a bath. Just as I'm dishing the food up Jordan walks in looking perfect as always. He's loosened his tie and undone the top three buttons; revealing a patch of chest hair which I personally find extremely sexy.

"Wheres Cara?" He asks as he looks around.
"I sent her home for the weekend. I wanted to do something nice for you tonight" I reply with a smile and in return I get his breathtaking grin. He walks up to me and pulls me in for the softest kiss.
"Hi" he whispers against my lips.
"Hi" I kiss him again and pull away when Sienna realises Jordan is back.
"Daddy!" She exclaims as he scoops her up.
"I made you a cake daddy" she tells him and he gasps in surprise.
"You did? Thankyou so much! Let's eat dinner and then we can have a big slice of cake!" He tells her and she grins before giving him a kiss.

"I have something to ask you" Jordan says later that night in bed.
"What is it?"
"My parents have asked if we want to go over for a family dinner tomorrow evening" he tells me. I've met his family before at the charity gala, but this will be the first time I see them as Jordan's girlfriend, and the first time they'll meet Sienna. I look down at my hands as I contemplate how this night will go.
"If it's too early Becca it's ok" Jordan lifts my chin up and I look into his eyes.  His eyes cause my breath to catch in my throat every time I look into them. They're so captivating, I can't help but fall for him more.
"No I'm just.. Nervous I guess. Do they know about Sienna?" I ask and Jordan just grins.
"Yes they do, and my mother and Hope cannot wait to meet her" he tells me and I can't help but smile at his enthusiasm.
"Ok well tell her we'll be there" I reply with a smile and he leans in to give me a kiss. I pull away and snuggle as far as I can into his warm body. I take a deep breath and breathe in his scent; mint body wash, cinnamon and a scent that only Jordan possesses. I feel his fingers comb through my hair and kisses my hairline.
"Sweet dreams my angel" he whispers into my ear and I can't help the grin that grows on my face.

I squeeze Jordan's hand tight as we walk up to the front door.
"Don't be nervous, they love you and I know they'll love her" Jordan reassures me. Sienna is on the other side of Jordan in a baby pink dress with a little white bow on the back.
"What if they think I'm some gold digger?" I ask him and he actually gasps.
"Don't ever say that again ok? They won't, and if they do, I'll set them straight. Don't ever think that, because I know you're not" I open my mouth to reply but the sound of someone opening the door stops me.

"You're here!" Colleen exclaims as she holds her arms out for Jordan. Jordan momentarily lets go of my hand and wraps his arm around his mother before returning his hand in mine. We walk inside and Colleen gives me a hug.
"It's so lovely to see you again, Rebecca. You have no idea how happy we all are that Jordan has found you" she tells me and I look over at Jordan. He gives me his beautiful shy smile and looks down at Sienna; who has now cowered behind Jordan's leg. Colleen follows my eyeline and sees Sienna poking out the side. She looks at me and I nod in encouragement. Colleen kneels down in front of Sienna only for Sienna to hide even more. Jordan smiles and bends down next to her; pulling her into his side and whispering in her ear. I don't know what he says, but whatever it is, Sienna looks at Colleen and gives her a hug.

"Dinner is just getting served, everyone is in the dining room" Colleen announces as she scoops Sienna up and leads the way into the dining room. Jordan takes my hand again as we walk into the room. I'm immediately greeted by Hope and Megan, who then look at Colleen and grin.
"Is this her?" Hope asks and I nod before taking Sienna from Colleen.
"Sweetheart this is-" I suddenly stop and look at Jordan. Do they know Sienna calls him dad? Saving the day as always, Jordan comes over and stands next to me with Sienna in between us.
"Peanut this is daddy's sister Hope. Can you say hi?" He asks and I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding. Hope just grins and let's out a giggle when Sienna smiles but hides her face in my neck.
"Who's that?" She whispers in my ear and points at Megan.
"That's your daddy's, brothers girlfriend Megan" I respond and smile kindly at Megan.
"She's pretty" Sienna whispers in my ear and I giggle.
"Yes she's very pretty" I repeat and Megan laughs.
"Not as pretty as you though" she says and Sienna looks up at her with a cheeky grin. She reaches her hands out to Megan and Megan takes her from my arms. I have a feeling Sienna won't be put down much this evening.

"So how old is Sienna?" Jack asks me as we tuck in to the most amazing sea bass I've ever tasted.
"She's four. She'll be five in November" I smile over at Dominic and Megan who have Sienna seated in between them. Even though they're not related, Dominic and Jordan are complete opposites. Jordan's hot headed and loves control, whereas Dominic is very easy going and wouldn't argue unless it was needed.
"Have you thought about kindergarten yet?" Jack continues.
"A little bit. She goes on play dates with my boss' daughter who's starting the local school in the fall, so I think it will be easier to send her there too. Sienna's very shy when it comes to new people that I don't know. She's relaxed around you because Jordan and I are. If I send her to a place where she knows no one and I'm not there with her she won't make any friends, whereas if Elise makes friends I'm pretty sure Sienna will make friends too" I explain and Jack nods with a smile.

"So Jordan, have you got any plans for your birthday next month?" Hope pipes up and my eyes widen.
"It's your birthday? You didn't tell me" I say and he just shrugs.
"I don't celebrate birthdays, so I didn't feel the need to tell you" he explains and I sigh.
"Daddy's birthday?" Sienna asks and I smirk. If he doesn't want to celebrate it, I know someone who will.
"Yes sweetheart next month, but daddy doesn't want to do anything"
"Why daddy? No cake? Presents?" Sienna questions him with a frown and Jordan looks at me. He knows my game. I make eye contact with him and raise an eyebrow.
"How will you cope with no chocolate cake, Jordan?" I ask innocently and his entire family struggle to hold back laughs. Expect for Dominic, who lets out a roaring laugh.
"Bro she's got you hooked" he says and Megan elbows him in the ribs. Jordan leans into my ear so only I can hear.
"You're going to pay for that Miss. Kramer" he beams and the shivers go right down my spine.

"I really enjoyed tonight, Jordan. It feels nice to be around a family again" I admit when we are on our way home.
"Around our family, baby. They already love you like family" he corrects me and I blush. I look down at Sienna who is fast asleep on my lap.
"What is it?" Jordan asks.
"It's just so surreal you know? One minute I have no one, the next I have a wonderful group of people around me who will do anything for me" I explain as I stroke Sienna's cheek. Before Jordan can say anything we pull up in the underground garage and Mason opens my door. Jordan gets out and runs around to my side to get Sienna while I get out.
We make our way up the elevator and Jordan takes Sienna up to her room while I go into ours. I look at my phone that Jordan very generously gave me and see I have a text:
"You have no idea how great it is to see Jordan smile again. Colleen, Hope and I are going shopping tomorrow if you're up for it? Welcome to the family, Megan"
I smile at my phone. For the first time in three years, I finally belong to a family.
