Rebecca:

It's Saturday night and I'm a nervous wreck. I'm not a good liar, I don't have a good poker face so if and when Evelynn catches Samantha in her lie I'm going to crack.
"Oh god I can't do this" I put my hands on the side of my face as Jordan looks on in amusement. I grab a pillow and throw it at him.

"This is not funny, this is why I suck at poker, I read like a book Jordan what if she figures out the plan, what if she-" Jordan cuts me off with his lips on mine and I forget for a second what I was panicking about. He pulls away and his hands replace mine on either side of my face; looking directly into my eyes.
"You are going to be fine. Evelynn has this under control, and I'm sure you will be able to keep your cool" he assures me and I give him a slight smile back, but I'm still nervous. Of course Evelynn will have this interrogation in the bag, my god the woman still scares me to death. But once Samantha turns on me and asks me questions only I know the answer to, even Evelynn can't save my arse. Just as I'm about to say something back, my phone rings.

"Come on, go. You'll be fine" Jordan reassures me and gives me a quick kiss before ushering me out of the room.
"Sienna-"
"Sienna is in bed, she will be there when you get back. Now stop making excuses and go" Jordan basically pushes me to the elevator and I sigh. I'm not ready for this. I give him one last kiss before riding the elevator down to be greeted by Duke's Land Rover. I take a deep breath before climbing into the back of the car. Evelynn turns around in the front seat and grins.

"We are going to take this bitch down" she says with a sly smirk that I couldn't help but giggle at. I can tell Duke is rolling his eyes at his wife, and I don't blame him; she's unique.
"How can you be so calm? I'm absolutely shitting a brick!" I confess with a little chuckle and Evelynn just rolls her eyes.

"Grow some balls Rebecca, this woman has been a thorn in your side for the last three weeks now. So stop shitting a brick and spit some fire instead" she orders and I know she isn't kidding. I just nod and sit quiet until we get to the bar. Evelynn gives Duke a kiss goodbye and I thank him before we climb out of the car and walk inside. The other four mums are already here, including Samantha. Lets get this over with.

Five cocktails in, and I'm feeling the buzz big time. I'm not a big drinker, so Evelynn ordering me three Cosmopolitans and two Sour Apple Martinis has been a complete shock to my liver and my brain. I know one thing though; Samantha is getting on my last nerve. Evelynn is definitely getting her warmed up, and the alcohol is definitely giving me the confidence to question her.

"Come on Samantha we've all said our craziest boyfriend moment, tell us yours" Evelynn probes while sipping on her seventh cocktail. I do not know how she does it, two more for me and I'll be dancing on this table... Or passed out under it.
"I don't know... I did have a boyfriend that I met when he came to play a baseball game at my college" my ears prick up when she says that. I look out of the corner of my eye and see Evelynn smirk. Oh god, here we go. This is it; final showdown.

"No way, how did that work out?" one of the other girls pipes up. I just keep quiet until my opinion is needed.
"It didn't last long, just a fling. He was a stuck-up jock who obviously just wanted to get into my pants. I was probably just a rebound" she says with a giggle. Urgh please, it takes all my energy not to roll my eyes and snicker.

"Is that it? Is that all the dirt you're giving us? Come on Samantha you're always the first to gossip" Evelynn pushes at Samantha and I can see that she keeps looking me at. She knows the connection obviously, and doesn't want to give anything away. Well, she's about to spill her guts.
"Yeah Samantha, you love telling us about your 'bad girl' days, but we've never heard about this one. Give us details!" I join in and I can feel Evelynn's grin. She does not do subtle. Samantha looks at me and the fear in her eyes says it all; she knows I know.

"What was his name? What did he look like?" I continue. I'm into this now, I don't know what I was so scared about.
"I- I can't remember his name" she stutters and I grin with satisfaction.

"You can't remember his name? Come on if he was the guy who you say was your 'craziest boyfriend moment', you have to remember his name" I sip my apple martini to try and hide my ever growing grin. She stays silent and all the girls are just staring at her.
"Did he have some sort of crazy background like have a child or something" I spit out and I saw the fire light in her eyes.

"Yeah he did actually, but his pathetic ex-girlfriend kept it away from him" she shot back and I just sit there in absolute disbelief.
"Wow, I can't believe someone would do that. You sure he didn't leave them for a baseball scholarship?" It's war now. If that's the story he spread when we first split up then he is more vindictive than I ever thought he would be.

"Ok, I have the feeling we are talking about the same person here. Do you know who she is talking about?" Evelynn plays along and I mentally give her a high five for having my back like always.
"I know exactly who she is talking about actually. This innocent man who claims that his ex-girlfriend kept him away from his child really abandoned his pregnant girlfriend to take on a baseball scholarship" I explain while looking directly into Samantha's eyes. She is not gong to phase me.

"I don't blame him for abandoning her, she obviously wasn't good enough" Samantha mutters.
"Wait, is this guy Sam is on about Sienna's father?" Gianna injected.
"Yes Gianna, he is. And this sleazy bitch snuck a present from him into Sienna's birthday party. If you're in contact with him still, please inform him that I burnt the present" I say back to Samantha who's smirk falters at that comment.

"What are you getting out of this anyway? Like you said, you were probably a rebound. You were then, and you probably are now" I snap at her and she finally looks down.
"Come on Samantha tell me, or so help me god I will chuck this martini over your head" I say through gritted teeth. I've had enough now, this woman better tell me straight.

"James got a demotion ok?! And working part-time isn't cutting it anymore and Conrad got in contact saying he will pay me if I delivered this package" She finally confesses and the satisfaction that is radiating off of me is illuminious.
"Wow, how desperate. Do you realise how much shit you have caused Rebecca and Jordan?! All for some big bucks? How pathetic" Evelynn exclaims and I know the look on her face. It's the same face she gets with Mark; she's about to go nuclear.

"I sure hope that the money is worth it, because trust me honey you've blacklisted yourself. No-one is going to trust you again. Stooping as low as trying to ruin Rebecca's new relationship is beyond me. That's probably why Conrad got you to do it; he knows how successful Jordan is and knows he could never have lived up to that standard so felt he should throw a spanner in the works. I'm done here" Evelynn gets up and looks at me.

"You coming girl?" She asks and I nod.
"With pleasure" I stand up and pick my glass up before chucking it all over Samantha.
"Tell Conrad I say hi" I say with a smirk as I leave the drenched rat behind.

Mission accomplished.
