"It's us or them.'' The angels were, once again telling Cas.

Cas rolled his eyes. He had heard this a million times. The angels and heaven or the Winchesters. His answer would remain the same. The Winchesters. Every. Time. He could not help it. He cared about Sam and Dean very much. Heaven was bloody...and corrupt.

And so, he simply responded, with a little sass, "The Winchesters.''

1 of the angels shaken their head, making a "tsk tsk tsk'' sound. He then injected Cas with something. Cas winced as the needle pricked his skin, but nothing happened afterwards. He felt his heartbeat quicken. "W-what was that?'' He asked. "You will soon see.'' The angel smirked, and, after snapping their fingers, Cas soon found that he was in The Winchesters' bunker once again. Sam and Dean jumped and looked a him. "Uhh, hey, Cas, where were you?'' Dean asked, drinking some of his beer. "I...um...nothing important.'' He cleared his throat. "Excuse me.'' He walked off to the bathroom and closed the door. He looked at himself in the mirror. {What the hell is that shot going to do to me?} He examined himself, making sure that nothing was happening to his vessel. He could not find anything wrong on the outside.

He sighed, walking out of the bathroom and going back to Sam and Dean. He decided to just sit around. After an hour, though, he knew that something was wrong.

His memory.

This shot was making him forget things. He was looking around the bunker, thinking things like, were those rings always on the table? Has...Sam read that book already or what? And...what?

He just found himself rapidly becoming more and more confused. It was really starting to scare him. He needed to tell the Winchesters. {My name is Castiel. I am an angel of the lord. My best friends are Sam and Dean.} He kept on repeating that, really hoping that he would not forget it. "Um...Sam.'' Cas said in an unsteady voice. Sam looked over. "Yes, Cas?'' "I..i have no idea how to tell you and Dean this but uh...i am starting to forget.'' Dean looked over and chuckled a bit. "What do you mean forget? Forget about what?'' "Everything...like i feel my memory...slipping.'' Dean's smile faded. "What do you mean?'' Cas swallowed thickly. "These...angels. They injected me with something. Because they were once again making me choose between you and Sam or them. I did not know what it was at 1st, but now I feel it. I'm scared.'' "Ok...don't worry, Cas. This happened to Dean before. We can fix it.'' "Ok...''

And so, they worked on fixing it. But this magick was wit a cost, they soon found out. It would require Dean to bear the mark of cain once again. Cas begged him not to do it. Just let him suffer the consequences and die from his memory loss eventually. But Dean refused, he insisted that they gotten rid of it once before, and they could do it again. And so it was.
