"Six children, Elaine!" My mother yells. "Six children with that monster."
"That monster is the reason I'm even alive right now."
"He will be your demise!" She yells. "You chose him over your own family."
I shake my head. My family hasn't been that for a long time.
"Why do you think Natalie left the coven? Because of you."
My younger sister Natalie left the coven not long after I was shunned. She gave up her magic and in return my mother placed a spell on her that cannot be undone unless done by the witch who did it.
"I wanted to be a hero to the world and you shut me out."
"I admit my ways.. are not always right." She sighs. "But those children."
One child is a fluke but to have six with Klaus Mikaelson is unheard of. Just days ago my babies were born. Three powerful beings in their own right.
"You babies hold power that is deemed unacceptable."
"They are just that.. babies."
"They are not just babies. Two Hybrids.. and the Tribrid."
Each of my triplets are prophesied creatures. Lydia is the famed Wailing Witch, Jeremy is the Crimson Wolf and the oldest of the three is something this universe has never seen.
"Give me the girl."
"No."
"With my care she may not bring what is coming."
