"Come on guys, we'll be late for our flight." Y/n said as she waited by the front door, ready 10 minutes ago."We're here. We're here." Gracie chuckled as she and Mia rushed down the stairs. "Whos ready for Hawaii." Mia screamed excitedly as she slipped on her shoes.
"Not you apparently." Y/n joked as she was the last to get ready. "Let's go." She added, opening the door for them.
They made their way to the airport, went through security and got to their gate just a few minutes before boarding started.
It was going to be a pretty long flight, but Gracie booked first-class tickets, so it will be much more comfortable.
---
It was nighttime when they got to Hawaii, which meant they went straight to their hotel and went to bed.
They booked interconnecting rooms for the hotel so they would be close together but still have the privacy of their own room.
---
Gracie cuddled into Y/n when they woke up early the next morning. "Hi, baby." Y/n mumbled, wrapping her arm around her and playing with her hair.
Gracie smiled, placing a quick kiss on Y/ns cheek. "I booked a restaurant for us for tonight." Y/n said as Gracie put her head back on her chest.
"Oh, yeah?" Gracie smiled. "I think you're gonna love it." Y/n added happily. "I love you." Gracie whispered against Y/ns lips before she closed the gap, kissing her softly.
"I love you more." Y/n smirked, making Gracie gasp offended. "Blasphemy, that's not possible." Gracie hummed, grinning.
"Don't know about that." Y/n teased. "Well I guess you'd have to prove it. To convince me." Gracie smirked.
"Oh yeah? How would you like me to convince you?" Y/n asked teasingly, kissing Gracie before she had the opportunity to answer.
"I could think of a few ways." Gracie said, straddling Y/ns hips. "Starting with breakfast." She added with a smirk.
"You're such a tease." Y/n whispered. "But if it's breakfast you want, breakfast you shall get. Room service?" She asked.
"Yes. I don't want to get out of bed just yet." Gracie hummed. Y/n looked over the room service menu, "let me guess, scrambled eggs, bacon and toast?" She asked.
"You got it." Gracie said, splayed out on the bed as Y/n sat on the edge of the bed looking at the menu.
"It will be here in 15 minutes." Y/n said as she hung up the phone. "Perfect." Gracie mumbled, pulling Y/n back into the bed for more cuddle time.
---
Gracie and Y/n spent their morning in bed, visited the beach around noon and were now getting ready for their dinner date.
"You look amazing." Y/n said, looking Gracie up and down as she got all dressed up. "Don't look too bad yourself." Gracie teased, wrapping her arms around Y/ns neck.
"I know what would go really well with that outfit." Y/n said, holding back her smile. Gracie looked at her curiously as she pulled away.
Y/n took a fancy box out of her luggage and handed it to Gracie. "I know we don't usually do big gifts, but since you booked this trip for us, I just had to." She said.
Gracie eyed the box. It looked expensive. She finally opened the box and her jaw dropped. "This must have cost a fortune. You shouldn't have." Gracie said as she picked up the necklace, inspecting it.
"You deserve it. You can look at it as a thank you for sticking around all those times I was deployed." Y/n said smiling as she took the necklace from Gracies hands and clipped it around her neck.
