When Gracie woke up, Y/n was already up and about, starting to get ready for the day. Gracie grumbled sleepily, hugging Y/ns pillow since Y/n wasn't in the bed.

"Oh you're up," Y/n said as she walked out of the bathroom. Y/n usually slept pretty early and woke up very early, but Gracie wasn't like that. Especially after last night, Y/n hadn't expected her to be awake so early.

Gracie mumbled something under her breath, which Y/n had no hope of hearing all things considered.

Y/n sat down on the edge of the bed and stroked Graicies back soothingly. She smirked when Gracie rolled over and she could see all of her last night's work, the hickies covering Gracies chest and thighs, and a few lighter ones on her neck.

"I'm so sleepy," Gracie muttered, not opening her eyes. "It's only 7, you can sleep some more." Y/n assured.

Gracie shook her head slightly, "cuddles?" She asked with a pout. Y/n smiled, laying down on the bed for some cuddle time.

"How's your arm?" Gracie asked as she cuddled into her wife. "Almost healed, but I still can't feel those two fingers." Y/n said as she wiggled the fingers she couldn't feel.

"Definitely not as strong as it used to be, but it's functional, so everything is good," Y/n added.

"Good," Gracie mumbled, taking hold of Y/n's hand. "I think the real issue right now is my back." Y/n chuckled.

"What? What happened to your back?" Gracie asked quickly, raising her head from her chest. She hadn't mentioned hurting her back.

"You happened to my back." Y/n said chuckling. Gracies eyebrows raised, confused and curious.

"Don't remember digging your nails into my back last night?" She teased, making Gracies eyes widen in realisation. "Does it hurt?" Gracie asked as she looked into her eyes.

"No, not really. Compared to everything else, it actually felt good. I'm not used to nothing hurting." Y/n admitted with a smile.

Gracie was about to respond but got interrupted by the soft knocking on their door. "You guys up?" Mia asked from the other side of the door.

"Yeah," Y/n responded. "Are you going to breakfast? Thought we could go together." Mia asked. She wanted some company after spending the previous day alone.

Y/n looked at Gracie, who nodded in response. "Yeah, give us 5 minutes." Y/n responded, receiving an 'ok' from Mia.

Gracie pulled herself up out of bed, dragging her feet as she started getting dressed. Y/n was almost fully dressed other than a shirt.

Gracie gasped slightly as Y/n turned around to find a t-shirt. Long red marks covered Y/n's back, some places seemed to have been bleeding at some point.

"Well damn," Gracie said as she saw how bad it really was. Y/n turned around, realising why she reacted like that. "Don't worry, I got you back," Y/n said with a smirk, gesturing to her neck.

Gracie looked in the mirror, just now noticing the hickies on her neck as she ran her fingers over them.

Gracies eyes widened, "I need to cover them." She said, catching Y/n off guard. "Why? You've never covered them before unless you had work." Y/n asked, her eyes narrowed.

"Ugh, I-" Gracie struggled to find the words. "Come on, I'm hungry," Mia said, banging on their door. "One sec," Y/n said, as she looked at Gracie.

"Yeah, you're right, I don't know why I said that," Gracie said, brushing it off with a chuckle, taking advantage of Mias interruption. "Let's go," Gracie said, unlocking the door separating their room and Gracies.
