2 years later...
Y/n stood outside a rustic castle. Rows of chairs were set up outside with a centrepiece down the aisle.
The rows were empty for now, but soon would be filled with people. The castle's garden glowed in the early morning sun. The light turning every flower more beautiful.
Y/n smiles, her hands in her pockets as Noa and Daan approach her. Zara was already inside getting ready, but Y/n went for another check on the set-up.
She had smiled to herself as she walked through the gorgeous venue, smiling as she thought about how her life was about to change.
"You ready for this?" Daan asks as he embraces her in a hug. "Yes. So ready." Y/n smiles widely. "Well you should start getting ready." Noa says pulling Y/n by the hand.
She didn't need help getting ready but Noa insisted that she wanted to help so Y/n allowed her to stay for moral support.
Y/n took a shower first of all, brushing her teeth before getting her suit on. Y/n let Noa dry her hair as she so desperately wanted to help out.
"You look amazing." Noa says as she finished styling Y/ns hair, before handing her her accessories one by one.
Y/n sprayed herself with her nicest perfume, and ran her hands down to smooth out her suit jacket.
They met with Daan and his husband outside, where they both whistle at Y/n, making her chuckle, pushing Daan's shoulder playfully.
Guests have started to gather, the ceremony set to start in a little over half an hour. Y/n spoke to some of the guests as there was some time to kill.
The guest list wasn't huge as Y/n had no family to invite and Zara kept it pretty close as well, inviting her close family and friends only.
Between the two of them, they had a guest list of about 35 people. "Sorry I'm late." Y/n hears a familiar voice behind her, recognising it as Noa's boyfriend. He had something important to take care of first.
"You're right on time." Y/n said with a smile. Y/n made eye contact with Koen across the garden and he gestured for her to a more private spot.
Y/n left her friends behind to talk to him. "Is everything okay?" Y/n asked slightly concerned for no reason at all.
"Yeah. Yeah. Everything is great." He smiled. "I'm just checking in on you." He added. "Oh I'm great."
"Nervous?" He asked, remembering his own wedding day, it felt so surreal he felt like he was going to wake up and it'll all have been a dream.
"Not at all. For once I have no doubts I met my soulmate." Y/n says happily. "Good." Koen agreed, "this is going to be great." "You know I knew from the day I met you that you were going to be special to me." He added.
"Thank you." Y/n said with a nod. Koen has expressed on multiple occasions how thankful he is that her and Zara worked together just as well as he knew they would.
As they returned to the ceremony area most guests were in their seats, murmuring between themselves softly.
Y/n took her place at the altar as Koen went to get Zara. The music started playing, photographers were in place and everyone went silent.
The bridesmaids and groomsmen walked up the aisle some standing on Y/ns side and some going to Zaras' side.
Y/ns breath lodged in her throat as she saw Zara for the first time. She hadn't even seen what dress she picked out but it was exactly how she imagined it. So elegant and classy.
