"Mia is already gone, it seems." Y/n said after checking her sisters room. "Oh really? I guess it's just us today." Gracie said with a smile as she wrapped her arms around Y/n."Fine by me." Y/n chuckled, kissing Gracies lips softly. "Let's go get breakfast." She added with a smile.
"Let's go." Gracie smiled, grabbing their room key and Y/ns hand before leading them out the door.
"So what do you want to do today?" Y/n asked as they finished eating breakfast.
"Think we should visit Oahu island, I saw some reviews online and it looks awesome," Gracie said with a smile.
"Sounds good." Y/n replied with a smile as they came back to their hotel room. They got ready and went out, hand in hand as they walked through the halls of the hotel.
---
"See, this tour will bring us all around the island, show us different attractions and it teaches about the islands culture and history." Gracie said as she looked it up on her phone.
"Awesome, lets do that." Y/n grinned as Gracie booked the trip. They made their way to the starting point, chilling in the area, waiting until the start time.
They spent the day exploring the island. They saw monuments, beaches, temples and so many other thing.
They learned the history and the culture of the island and had the time of their life. It was fun.
They ended the day with a dinner date at a beachside restaurant as the sun began to set.
"This has been nice." Y/n said as she looked at Gracie across the table. "Yeah, this island is amazing. Good learning experience." Gracie hummed as she looked out to the sea.
Y/n reached across the table, taking Gracies hand into hers, intertwining their fingers. "I don't just mean today, this whole trip in general. It was a nice distraction from... well everything." Y/n said as she looked at her hand she couldn't quite feel since the accident.
Gracie smiled, squeezing Y/ns hand comfortingly. "I'm glad. It was nice to get away from work for a while and spend some time together." Gracie agreed.
"Speaking of work, how's it going? You were working on an album for a while right?" Y/n asked as she looked at Gracie.
"It's good, getting there." Gracie smiled. "You know I've been thinking, I'm going to have to find another job now that the army is out of the question." Y/n hummed.
"Right, any thoughts?" Gracie asked. "Nope, no idea." Y/n said, slumping back in her chair. "Never really thought about it when I was in the army and now I'm stuck." Y/n added as she tapped the table with her fingers.
"And that's okay. You don't have to have it all figured out." Gracie assured. "You have all the time in the world." Gracie added with a smile.
"Doesn't feel like it. I don't like the idea of sitting at home doing nothing. My arms healed now. Gotta get back to work." Y/n chuckled.
"Give it time, babe. Don't want to rush back into it." Gracie hummed. "Yeah, yeah." Y/n chuckled as she pulled out her phone.
"Ah, Mia just texted me. Said she'll be back in an hour." Y/n said, changing the subject as she checked her phone for the time.
"We'll be back right around that time too." Gracie hummed. "Yeah." Y/n agreed. "We can all watch a movie together." Y/n added.
"Actually let's go get some snacks before we go back." Y/n said as they left the restaurant. "Ooh, yes. We can get some popcorn and some sweets. It's gonna be good." Gracie agreed excitedly.
Y/n smiled, watching Gracie ramble on excitedly. She wrapped her arm around her shoulders as they walked into the sunset.
---
"There you are." Mia screamed excitedly as she hugged Y/n, who chuckled at her enthusiasm.
"How was your day? You disappeared pretty early." Y/n asked with a smile as Mia hugged Gracie after pulling away from Y/n.
"It was good. I met this guy on the first day when y'all ditched me, by the way." Mia said, rolling her eyes playfully.
"He messaged me the other day, wanted to hang out, so that's what I was doing today." Mia continued. "Went for breakfast and then he showed me around the island." Mia hummed.
"Oh yeah?" Y/n said teasingly. "And it was our anniversary in case you forgot." Y/n added with a chuckle.
Mia rolled her eyes. "It wasn't like that. He's just a friend." Mia insisted. "Sure." Y/n said, nodding her hear slowly. "I'm serious." Mia said, glaring at Y/n.
"Just messing. Chill." Y/n chuckled, throwing her hands up in surrender. "Asshole." Mia muttered under her breath, making Gracie chuckle.
"Come on guys. Let's watch this movie." Gracie said as she had already picked out the movie while Mia and Y/n were distracted.
Y/n plopped down on the bed, throwing her arm over Gracies shoulder. Mia smiled, laying down on the other side of Y/n and cuddling into her chest.
"Snacks." Gracie said as she dumped the bag of goodies on the bed. "Yes, my fave." Mia said excitedly as she grabbed a pack of sweets.
Y/n smiled, relaxing as her two favourite people cuddled into each of her sides as they watched Gracies favourite movie.
