In a corner of the room, the Kyoto boys began to flirt with Saori, their confidence radiating as they attempted to win her attention. One of them leaned closer, flashing a charming smile. "You know, it's no wonder the Tokyo team won. They have someone like you on their side," he said, lightly touching her arm.

Megumi stood a short distance away, feeling a spark of irritation ignite within him as he observed the interaction. His calm demeanor began to shift as jealousy coursed through him. Crossing his arms tightly, he anchored himself in an attempt to maintain his composure.

As the boy continued to chat with Saori, casually resting his hand on her arm, Megumi took a deep breath and approached them. "Saori, we should go find the others," he said, his tone steady but laced with underlying tension.

The Kyoto boy shot him an incredulous look. "Hey, man, I'm not done talking to her."

Megumi's eyes narrowed, his voice low and assertive. "Says who? I'd appreciate it if you kept your hands off my girlfriend."

Yuji, sensing the rising tension, quickly stepped in with a forced smile. "Hey, how about we all just chill, huh? There's plenty of fun to go around! Let's grab some drinks and celebrate together!"

Saori looked between the two, a mix of amusement and concern on her face. "Guys, it's fine. Really, I don't mind.

The Kyoto boy hesitated, the confidence in his expression faltering under Megumi's unwavering gaze. He glanced at his teammates, who were equally caught off guard by the sudden shift in atmosphere. Sensing the tension was not worth pursuing, he raised his hands in a mock surrender. "Alright, alright. No need to get all worked up, man. Just having a friendly chat."

Megumi's posture relaxed slightly, but he kept a protective arm around Saori, ensuring she felt his support. "Let's go, Saori," he said, his tone softer now, though still firm.

As they walked away from the group, Saori looked up at him, a hint of confusion in her eyes. "What was that about? Do you not trust me?"

"It's not you; it's them," Megumi replied, glancing back at the Kyoto boys, who were now huddled together, laughing and throwing glances in their direction. He pulled her outside where they were away from the eyes of other people not wanting to give them the satisfaction of seeing their conversation go down. "In case you didn't notice, Saori, you're hot. Guys look at you in a certain way, and I'd rather not deal with that."

Saori stopped for a moment, her eyebrows raised in surprise. "So you're saying I attract unwanted attention?"

Megumi sighed, running a hand through his hair. "I'm just saying I don't want some random guy thinking he can just touch you and act like it's no big deal. It annoys me."

Megumi," she said softly, "you don't have to worry about me. I'm not going anywhere. You're the one I want to be with."

He felt a warmth spread through him at her words. "I know, but it's still frustrating to see other guys trying to get close to you. Just promise me you'll be careful?"

Promise," Saori replied, leaning up to place a gentle kiss on his lips, making his heart race.

Saori pulled back slightly, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "And just so you know... you're a catch too, you know. Do you not notice how the female juniors look at you?"

Megumi raised an eyebrow, feeling the heat rise to his cheeks. "Seriously? I didn't even think about that. I'm just... me."

Exactly," Saori said, giving him a playful nudge. "You might not see it, but you have this whole 'mysterious guy' vibe going on. Girls find that attractive. It's not just me who thinks you're good-looking."
