As the professor said, the boys get unsteady. Of course they wanted to be one of those who gets in a group with Y/N, some of them because they admired her but a few of them because they have to write an essay about the school and the city and Y/N has a lot of knowledge and it would be easier to write that report. Or if they are really lazy to copy her essay and change a few things.
But sadly Trein crushed their hopes:" I already decided on the group formation. So Forget your wishes. I can see that in your eyes." He leafed through his notebook:" The first Group is: Azul, Deuce and Epel. The second group will be Malleus, Jamil, Black, Riddle and Sebek." They went quiet after they heard that they wouldn't be in a team with Y/N. But the students that aren't called yet smiles as the Trein continued:" To the last team. Y/N, Idia, Ruggie, Silver and Rook." Sebek smiled at Silver:" I'm with Waka-sama in a team! He did it on purpose because I can save him if he gets attacked." Silver shakes his head. He knew how to provocate his friend:" And I'm with Y/N in a team. Maybe he wanted the best of us to protect Y/N." The green haired went quiet and looked away. That was obviously a point for Silver.
While the groups went together, Y/N turned to Idia and held his hand:" I spoke with professor Trein and he accepted that we get in a group. Actually that saved my ass, I would be in a group with Malleus." She laughed nervously. Idia nodded thankfully and responded to the girl:" At least I don't have to interact with so many people. You will hold strangers from me, right?" Y/N laughed now honestly and amused:" Ortho asked me to help you to try and socialize with other people than Ortho and me. You know I know it's stressful for someone who is not used to being outside. But for your brother's sake, just try at least to make a conversation with our group. None of them will kill you." Idia started to shake as he heard Y/N's request:" But we're in a group with Rook Hunt. How can I be an extrovert with him around?" He crosses his arms and shakes:" But I try it for my brother. And you. I will see it as a extrem hard quest." As he said 'And you', he looked directly in Y/N's eyes. That was something he doesn't usually do. Eye contact was his biggest enemy.
Before the groups start their expedition, Trein holds them back to remind them:" Don't forget, you represent our school. Don't use magic and don't fight. And Rollo and I will visit the groups from time to time to see how you're doing. Now you all may leave."
The first group leaves fast. Azul, Epel and Deuce looked at each other. It was embarrassingly quiet so Deuce tried to break the invisible wall between them:" I'm looking forward to exploring the city with you. It seems that you know a few things about this city, Ashengrotto?" Azul was looking after Y/N who left with her team but turned to his group to answer Deuce's question:" Yes, you're right. The night before we got here I read every book that was about the city and the festival that they celebrate today." Epel was smiling at him:" Then we have the best tour guide here, I guess.
Together they went to the city. All of the three were in a happy mood, especially Epel, who could finally do what we want without Rook and Vil standing behind him and criticizing him for his 'not graceful' behavior. He stretched his arms out and screamed happily:" Gladly I'm not in Rook's team. No etiquette or something like this. A stone falls from my heart!" He grinned and jumped up like a schoolboy. Both Azul and Deuced watched him confused. They looked into each other's eyes and didn't say a word. Azul interrupted him:" So where do you two want to go first?" Deuce played with his fingers embarrassed:" I didn't do the research before we went here. Please don't tell Rosehearts about it." Azul laughed amused:" Don't worry, I'll keep my mouth shut. I see this more like a personal business trip and not a school trip. If you want this to be a free day, then it's not my deal." He grinned. Epel's smile growled as he heard the words of his upperclassman:" That's even better! Thank you, Azul!"
Azul got an idea:" How about the dishes that this city offers. I think it's already lunch time so I'm pretty sure that you want something to eat?" The first year nodded excited.
They went together to the inner city and were looking around and passing some stalls. They offer different kinds of things. Some have souvenirs and others offer fresh flowers. Azul kneeled down to the roses and inspected them carefully:" Maybe I should bring some to Y/N... She will appreciate it." He whispered to himself while the other two were standing on another stall. He purchased the roses. Suddenly behind Azul stands Rollo:" Are you three enjoying the city?" Epel and Deuce went to the two:" Yes,actually we're searching for a stall where they sell food. Epel and I were thinking of something baked. I want to know how different our school cafeteria is." Deuce explained to the white haired who listened attentively. Rollo turned to Azul again:" And you were looking for flowers? Ah, Roses?" He looked at the bunch of roses in his hands. Epel was giggling:" For whom did you buy it?" Azul sweatdropped and hid the roses behind his back:" None of your concern. You don't know this person!"
Deuce and Epel stepped back and let their upperclassmen be.
Rollo began:" If you're looking for baked groceries, I may help you. There's a famous bakery down the street. Let me escort you there." Azul smiled:" That's very thoughtful, you got my thanks." He righted his glasses before his group followed Rollo.
Arriving at the bakery, the group looked around at what the store had to offer. Deuce and Epel couldn't hold back to show how excited they were. While Azul looked at some sweet bread, between them were whipped cream and some berries. Rollo was standing directly behind him:" So you're interested in these Macarons? They are very popular here and this bakery is famous for them." Azul looked up to him:" Pardon me but I've never heard of those. Could you explain what the ingredients are?" Rollo nodded:" These were made out of egg and sugar for the shell, sweet whipped cream and fresh seasonal berries inside. They're formed like a bell cause of the current festival." The housewared of Octavinelle got the idea to sell them in his lounge. He smiled a bit at the thought of how the students would run inside for these:" I'll take ten." He ordered. After he held these he went to his group:" Would you like to try some?" Epel and Deuce each took one. They were so small that they fit in their mouths. They both smiled happily as they swallowed the pastry. Epel was the first to speak as Azul looked at them both expectantly: "The sweetness is really good but it's not sweet but I'm still hungry." Deuce was very impressed: "The berries in particular fit in. I'm getting a few for my dormmates too. I think Trey will like them."
When Deuce got a few for himself, they went out to explore the city further.
