The next the week was total hell for Mila. Evan was really more lost in his own problems, and he kept looking at her as if any moment she was going to disappear. Selena was agitated because something was deadly wrong with all of them and Jared well...that's where most of all their problems lied.

Jared completely ignored everyone.

He became isolated and deathly silent. He wouldn't talk to anyone even his own sister. He didn't join them for lunch or walked with them dining Classes. The science class that she shared with him spoke volumes he insisted to the teacher to have a new partner and moved his spot to the other end of the classroom way away from her. He wouldn't even look at her. When Class was over he's the first one out.

The whole family became concerned when Jared threw Evan out of his house. Mila wasn't there but Selena had told her that there was so much yelling between the two that they were afraid a full blown fight was going to happen. She felt that all of this was all her fault. Why was he so angry?

On Thursday Mila had had enough.

She went to search for Jared during school lunch to find him doing sit-ups out at the football field with no shirt and only gym shorts. There were a group of girls standing watching him as they giggled and whispering to each other. Jared seemed oblivious to his admires.

Jared Stopped mid-way when he spotted her coming his way and he wasn't ready to talk to her. Every time he looked at her he couldn't get the image of Evan on top of her with her blouse open and them in a heated embrace out of his mind. Rage filled him all over again. But he couldn't lash out at her the way he did with Evan the other night. They had never got into it that bad before and all because Evan had found his college acceptance letter to Oxford in London.

He had sent his reply that very morning stating that he would be there next semester. He was going to go ahead and graduate this year. A year early. He needed to get away from this place, from his best friend, from the girl he was madly in love with, who didn't feel the same way about him.

He got up and grabs his t-shirt and put it back on. It was inevitable so he waited until she finally reached him and stopped five feet away. He wouldn't look at her. Her eyes sparked with annoyance.

"Geeze Jared you could at least look at me." She snaps at him.

"Not really much to look at." he stated and immediately regretted it.

She didn't move an inch, but his retort stung. Why was he being so cruel?

"I'm going to ignore that statement." She grits out.

Not at all how she wanted this conversation to start. "What the hell is wrong with you?!" She yells at him.

He looks at her and gave her a glare. "Me? What the hell is wrong you? I mean what were you thinking?!" He yells back taking a step closer, getting angrier. "I feel like everything I said to you over the years didn't register in that damn brain of yours!"

She was getting heated over his words. "Excuse me but I didn't ask you to be my guardian! My decisions are mine to make and I will do as I damn please!"

"Oh so your decisions is for you to sleep with a guy only after two weeks of being with him huh? Of becoming his damn tramp-"

Jared's cheek Stung from the slap he just received from her. It actually calmed down his temper some. He saw the tears rolling down her face and knew he had emotionally hurt her with his words. And his heart constricted at what he was doing.

"Don't you dare tell me what I can or cannot do..." She says calmly then yells, "You're not my damn brother!"

"Thank god for that!" He yells right back.
