WOULDN'T IT BE BETTER IF HE ASKED AKAME-SAN TO TRAIN HIM?

The thought clung to Midoriya's mind as he watched the girl move with lethal precision, their first training session since their work studies. Akame's power in combat was undeniable, and after fighting Obutsu, his doubts resurfaced. He wasn't strong enough—not yet. And how could he call himself a hero if he couldn't even stand firm against villains like them?

"Oi!"

Midoriya jumped, his heart racing at the familiar voice behind him. "K-Kacchan!" He spun around, his awkward smile betraying his nervousness.

"And Todoroki-kun too," he added softly, feeling the weight of both their gazes on him.

"I know that face. What the hell are you thinking?" Bakugou demanded, his sharp eyes narrowing as he pointed a finger at him.

Midoriya froze. How could I forget?

The realization hit him hard. Akame wasn't just a classmate or a potential mentor—she was Bakugou and Todoroki's soulmate. How could he have thought to ask her for training without considering that?

"I..." His words faltered, guilt gnawing at him.

The truth was, he had only pieced it all together during their time in the hospital. He'd seen the way they were—how they were so close. And later, Mitsuki-san's visit had sealed it in his mind. The bond was deeper than he'd realized.

"I, um... I wanted to ask Akame-san to train me," Midoriya began, his voice stumbling. "I know you two are her soulmates, and I'm really sorry—I almost forgot to ask for your permission first. Akame-san's so strong and cool, and after seeing how she fought Obutsu, I thought I could learn so much from her—about technique, about strategy, and—"

"Hold it," Todoroki interrupted, his calm voice cutting through Midoriya's frantic muttering. His eyebrow lifted slightly, his gaze like ice on Midoriya. "You want Akame to train you?"

Midoriya nodded, looking down, feeling small under Todoroki's intense stare. "Yeah... that was the plan," he mumbled, unsure of how they'd take it.

"Tch, like hell you're doing it alone!" Bakugou growled, crossing his arms. "If she's training you, she's training all of us. I need to get stronger, too. There's no way you're hogging her."

"I agree," Todoroki added with a slight nod, his expression unreadable. "We need to grow together."

Midoriya blinked in surprise, relief washing over him. But there was something unspoken in their words—an unspoken warning not to get too comfortable with Akame. Not to leave her alone with him. He could sense it in the way they both watched him closely, as if silently reminding him of where he stood.
