TK stepped into their apartment, the door clicking softly behind him. After a long day at the firehouse, he was ready to relax, but the moment he entered, he felt a familiar energy in the air.

Carlos was waiting for him, leaning casually against the kitchen counter, a playful smirk on his face. "Well, look who finally decided to come home," he teased, crossing his arms over his chest.

"Sorry, I got held up," TK replied, rolling his eyes good-naturedly. "You know how it is."

Carlos straightened, eyes narrowing playfully. "Oh, I know exactly how it is. You could have called me, you know."

"Yeah, I was just—" TK started, but Carlos cut him off.

"Just what? Too busy to text your boyfriend?" Carlos said, stepping closer, his tone teasing but with a hint of sincerity. "I mean, I'd like to be kept in the loop, you know?"

TK chuckled, finding the mix of possessiveness and playfulness adorable. "I'm sorry, babe. I promise I'll keep you updated next time."

"Next time?" Carlos pouted dramatically. "What about now? You owe me a proper greeting."

"Alright, alright," TK laughed, stepping forward to wrap his arms around Carlos. "How's this?"

"Better," Carlos said, melting into the embrace. "But I need more than just a hug."

"More?" TK raised an eyebrow, feigning innocence.

Carlos looked up, his expression earnest. "Yeah, like a kiss. You know how much I love those."

"Is that all?" TK teased, leaning in closer, his lips brushing against Carlos's cheek.

Carlos rolled his eyes, but his smile betrayed him. "I need a real kiss, TK. You can do better than that."

"Okay, okay!" TK laughed, finally pressing his lips against Carlos's in a sweet, lingering kiss. He could feel Carlos's grin against his mouth, and it made his heart flutter.

"Now that's more like it," Carlos said, pulling back slightly, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "But I'm still not satisfied."

"Oh, really?" TK asked, amused. "What else do you want, Your Highness?"

"An 'I love you' wouldn't hurt," Carlos replied, feigning a pout that made him look adorably needy.

TK chuckled, unable to resist. "I love you, Carlos."

Carlos beamed, but then narrowed his eyes playfully. "You have to say it like you mean it!"

"Alright, I love you!" TK said, this time with more emphasis, trying to sound overly dramatic.

"Much better," Carlos said, satisfaction washing over him. "But I think you could use some practice. Say it again!"

"Okay, okay," TK laughed, shaking his head. "I love you, Carlos. Is that enough?"

"For now," Carlos said, a playful smile spreading across his face. "But I might need more kisses later to really seal the deal."

"More kisses, huh?" TK teased, pulling Carlos closer again. "I think I can manage that."

"Good," Carlos said, leaning in for another kiss, his arms wrapping around TK's waist. "And I expect you to be extra affectionate from now on. I have a reputation to uphold."

"Oh, really? And what reputation is that?" TK asked, smirking as he pulled back slightly.

"The most loved boyfriend in Austin," Carlos replied, his tone mock-serious. "It's a hard job, but someone's got to do it."

"I'll do my best to help with that," TK said, his heart swelling with affection. "But you have to promise not to get too demanding."

"Too demanding? Me?" Carlos feigned shock, eyes wide. "I'm just asking for what I deserve!"

"Which is...?" TK prompted, enjoying the banter.

"Affection, attention, and all the love in the world," Carlos declared dramatically.

"Lucky for you, I'm happy to oblige," TK replied, leaning down to capture Carlos's lips again.

As they shared another sweet kiss, Carlos melted into TK, feeling secure in the warmth of their love. It wasn't just possessiveness—it was the way Carlos made it clear how much he cherished their relationship, and that made TK feel incredibly special.

"Now, how about we make dinner together?" TK suggested, pulling away slightly.

Carlos nodded, a playful glint in his eyes. "Only if we can have a dance break in between. I want to feel the music and your arms around me."

"Deal," TK laughed. "But don't think I'll go easy on you when it comes to demanding more kisses."

"Wouldn't dream of it," Carlos replied, a smile lighting up his face as they headed toward the kitchen, ready to whip up dinner and enjoy their evening together—complete with all the affection and adorable possessiveness that made their love so special.
