Several weeks had passed since the parenting class, and Lucy's pregnancy was becoming more and more real. At eighteen weeks, she was starting to fully show - just enough for Angela to rest her hand on Lucy's growing bump as they lay in bed together. Tonight, they were revelling in each other's company, their bodies entwined under the soft blankets.

Angela traced lazy patterns along Lucy's side, her fingertips grazing the swell of her belly. Lucy giggled, breaking away from Angela's lips to catch her breath. "What was that for?" she asked, her eyes sparkling. Angela smiled, her gaze tender.

"Just wanted to say hi," she replied, pressing a gentle kiss to Lucy's stomach. Their laughter subsided, replaced by a comfortable silence as they continued to explore one another.

The weight of their impending parenthood seemed to dissipate, replaced by the familiar rhythm of their love. They kissed deeply, hands wandering, reaffirming the connection that had brought them to this moment.

Angela deepened their kiss, her tongue dancing with Lucy's as her hands roamed over her changing body. Each soft curve and new contour was a testament to the life they were creating together - a tangible reminder of their love. Lucy whimpered against Angela's lips, her body reacting to the intimate touch.

*This is our little haven*, Angela thought, her mind briefly escaping the worries of the outside world. They broke apart, both panting, and Angela leaned down to press a series of featherlight kisses along Lucy's jawline and neck.

She felt Lucy's pulse quicken beneath her lips, her breath hitching with every touch. "Ang," Lucy breathed, her voice husky with desire. Angela pulled back, her gaze filled with love and longing. "Yes, Luce?" she whispered. Lucy reached up, cupping Angela's face in her hands.

"I love you so much," she said, her eyes brimming with emotion. Angela smiled, brushing away a stray tear with her thumb. "And I love you," she replied, leaning in for another kiss.

In this moment, everything felt perfect - the world outside faded away, leaving only the two of them, lost in each other's arms.

Just as Angela's lips found Lucy's again, a sudden sensation startled her. Two distinct flutters against her palm, resting on her belly. Lucy gasped, her eyes wide with excitement and wonder. "Ang!" she cried, her voice trembling.

"They're moving! The twins..." Angela's eyes flew open, a smile spreading across her face as Lucy guided her hand to the spot.

Together, they waited, holding their breath until they felt it again - two tiny kicks, like butterfly wings against Lucy's skin. "Wow," Angela breathed, tears welling up in her eyes. "That's...that's amazing." Lucy beamed, her entire world centered around those tiny movements.

The room seemed to still around them, the outside world melting away as they shared this incredible moment. "Feel that?" Lucy asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

Angela nodded, her own eyes shining with joy. For the first time since they'd found out about the twins, Angela truly felt connected to them - like they were a part of her, too.

She leaned down, pressing a reverent kiss to Lucy's belly. "Hello, little ones," she murmured. "We love you already." Lucy's heart swelled with love, and she tightened her grip on Angela's hand. In this moment, nothing else mattered - they were a family, growing stronger with each passing day.

Later that evening, as the house fell silent, Lucy retreated to their shared bedroom. She sat on the edge of the bed, her hands cradling her belly, and began to sing a soft lullaby. The melody was familiar, a song she'd sung countless times before - a song her own mother had sung to her as a child.

The words flowed effortlessly from her lips, filling the room with a sense of peace and love. Unbeknownst to Lucy, Angela stood in the doorway, listening to her girlfriend's angelic voice.

Tears threatened to spill from Angela's eyes as she watched Lucy commune with their unborn children. She knew that Lucy had been feeling overwhelmed lately, the reality of twins setting in, but in this moment, she seemed so serene, so sure of herself.

Angela felt her heart swell with pride and love. She knew that Lucy would be an incredible mother, just as she knew she would be an incredible partner. Without realizing it, Angela had stepped closer, drawn in by the beauty of the scene.

Lucy's voice hitched slightly as she felt Angela's presence, and she turned to meet her gaze. "Hey," Lucy whispered, her cheeks flushed with emotion. Angela smiled, wiping away a tear.

"That was beautiful," she said simply, crossing the room to join Lucy on the bed. They sat together, Angela's arm wrapped protectively around Lucy's waist, and continued to share the love-filled silence, each lost in their own thoughts of the family they were creating together.

Lucy turned to face Angela, her expression open and vulnerable. "Hey, Ang?" she began hesitantly, her voice barely above a whisper.

Angela looked up from where she'd been resting her head on Lucy's shoulder, her brow furrowed in concern. "What's up, Luce?" Lucy took a deep breath, gathering her thoughts. "I know that I'm bonding the most with the babies right now, because I'm the one carrying them...and that's okay. But I was thinking...what if you went to the doctor tomorrow? To start the process of inducing lactation?"

She looked at Angela hopefully, her eyes bright with unshed tears. *Please say yes, i dont want her to feel unbonded to the twins*, she thought, her heart racing with anticipation. Angela's eyes widened, and Lucy could practically see the wheels turning in her mind. After a moment of silence, Angela's expression softened into a tender smile. "Are you sure?" she asked, reaching out to brush a strand of hair from Lucy's face.

Lucy nodded, her voice thick with emotion. "I want us both to be able to feed them, to be a part of that bond," she said, her voice trembling. Angela leaned in, pressing a gentle kiss to Lucy's forehead. "Of course," she whispered. "I'd really love that."

Lucy's shoulders relaxed, and she let out a sigh of relief. The thought of Angela sharing in such an intimate experience brought her immense joy, and she knew it would only strengthen their family unit.

They cuddled closer, each lost in their own thoughts of the future, their love for one another growing stronger with every passing second.
