First Day

::Vanessa's P.O.V::

"Okay Kaise we're here" I stated, as I looked at Mrs. Donna door "mmmh I don't wanna go Nessa" she mumbled. I looked at Prince, "please work your magic" I whispered. He nodded and knelt down in front of Kaisey. "Now Kaisey remember what I told you? About how fun it'll be?" He questioned, Kaisey shook her head a little. "Well you were there when we came to meet your teachers, Mrs. Donna and Mrs. Nina, and to see the classroom, and there were so much fun materials. They had a class pet and they offered nap time" Prince explained. "And they had a kitchen, which means snack time, which also means good food" I shook my head a little but continued to smile. "Plus Kaise you'll make a whole bunch of new friends" Prince added. "B-But what if I don't wanna make fri-" Kaisey suddenly trailed off when she noticed a little girl with red hair and freckles walking to the door with a white bear in her hands.

The girl spotted Kaisey's bear and smiled. "Hi I'm Margaret! I like your bear" Prince and I watched as Kaisey smiled and said "I'm Kaisey, I like your bear too". "Are you in Mrs. Donna class?" Margaret asked, Kaisey nodded. Margaret smiled and said "okay" before going into the room. Kaisey looked at Prince and I "hmm I think I'm ready to go in" I smiled and looked at Prince who was doing the same. "Okay let's go" I said as I walked with her and Prince into the classroom. I watched as Mrs. Donna and Mrs. Nina walked over to us. "Hi, I'm Mrs. Nina, I'm pretty sure Donna already talked about me" Mrs. Nina greeted, I smiled and nodded.

I looked down at Kaisey and smiled "well I guess it's time to say goodbye huh?" She asked quietly I nodded "yeah it sure is, but I'll come and pick you up right when school ends" "can Prince come?" She asked. I looked at Prince who was nodding, "yup I'll come too, I wanna hear all about your first day. Bye Misfit" I watched as they did their little handshake. I smiled and said "bye Kaisey". I turned to walk to the door, "oh and remember Misfit, snack time is the best time" Kaisey giggled. I took hold of Prince's hand and we both walked out of the room, "yo greedy ass" I said quietly, making sure none of the little kids in the hallway heard me. "What I'm just being honest" Prince said with a shrug.

"How'd it go?" Aaliyah asked Prince and I when we arrived at the school. I smiled a little "it actually went pretty well". I walked to my locker and opened it, I sighed as I looked at myself in the mirror. The hickey clearly visible, "hmm" I hummed to myself. I suddenly felt someone come up behind me and wrap their arms around my stomach. I continued to look in the mirror and noticed that it was Prince. He rested his chin on my shoulder, and looked at me in the mirror. "I'm sorry" he mumbled "about what?" "About the hickey, I'm really sorry..." I smiled a little. "It's okay Prince" "I promise that if anyone gives you a hard time about it that I'll say something" "why aren't you kind" I stated. He smiled and nodded.

::Prince's P.O.V::

I sat next to Ray at a science table while Roc and Prod sat together. I listened to Ms. Robin as she explained an at home project which required two or more people but a group no larger than six. I already knew Ms. Robin would let us choose our own partners because she always did. I looked at Ray who was doodling in his notebook. "Watcha drawin?" I asked, he slid his book over to me and revealed an apple. "Hmm I like how your spending your time in science drawing fruit" I said slowly he shrugged "I'm bored".

::Vanessa's P.O.V::

"Prince!" I exclaimed as I ran to him and jumped on his back, he swiftly brought out his arms so I wouldn't fall. "Hiya" he greeted "hey" "what's up?" I shook my head "nothin just tryin to push the thought of Kaisey at school out of my head" I mumbled. "She's fine plus you only have one more class before you can go and pick her up" he explained "think you can manage?" I gave a slight nod "yeah" "good". "What class do you have now?" He asked, I shrugged a little "I don't know".

When I got out of school I searched for Prince, when I finally found him he smiled. I tugged on the sleeve of his sweat jacket urging for him to walk, "come on it's time to pick up Kaisey!" I stated "alright, alright I'm coming" he said as he began to walk with me down the sidewalk. "Ugh we're not walking fast enough!" I exclaimed as I continued to tug on his sleeve, he chuckled and began to pick up his pace. When we got to the school and to Mrs. Donna's classroom Prince and I waited outside in the hallway until Mrs. Donna and Mrs. Nina took the kids to the car-rider line. When the door opened and I saw Kaisey walk out I couldn't help but to start cheesing like an idiot. When she saw us both she squealed and left the line and ran over to us. "Hi munchkin how was it?" I asked "it was great!" She exclaimed "wait, wait, wait, hold up...." Prince stated "before you start telling us all about your first day, how was snack time?" He asked, I rolled my eyes in a joking manner. "It was amazing!" Kaisey stated, Prince chuckled "haha see I told you it'd be a blast".

As we all walked down the hallway of the school, I held one of Kaisey's hands while Prince held the other. When we got outside Kaisey immediantly began to ramble on and on about how her first day when. "Play time was really fun! Me and Margaret played with our bears the whole time" she said as she nodded "and then when we went back to the room we did some work and had nap time then snack time!" She exclaimed. I smiled "well I bet you'll have a lot of fun tomorrow too then" Kaisey looked at me "huh? What do you mean?" "Um Kaisey you gotta go back tomorrow" Prince stated with a small smile. "What!?" She shrieked "nobody told me that I had to go back!" I burst out laughing, I held onto Prince's shoulder as I continued to laugh. "This is not funny!" She exclaimed "I don't wanna go back there!" "Why not?" Prince asked, trying to ignore my laughter but couldn't. Before he let Kaisey answer he started laughing too. "Ugh! Why I gotta go back there? I learned a lot in the first day!" She stated, "I'm sorry munchkin but that's just how it is, and how it will be for the next fourteen years plus college" I stated, I watched as she opened her mouth to speak, "fourteen years!? and college".
