A song to listen to: No love by HIM

❀❀❀❀❀

Vivienne

In my dreams he called my name. The way Vivienne rolled off his tongue, so soft, full of love, too alluring. I traced his tattoos which were alive, moving in his skin like snakes as his warmth seeped to me when he hugged me. I didn't look up to see his face, I enjoyed the touch of his skin. He protected me. That was a happy dream.

A nightmare was when I reached him in the darkness, how his voice lured me forward. He faced me and his eyes nailed me to the spot, only disappointment and betrayal to be found. His hand rose for a gun, the sound of a trigger echoing. His eyes went black and I always woke up screaming.

Now my consciousness was alerted. Murmurs surrounded me, the angry voices were getting louder. Something was wrong.

"No, Connie. When the fuck did I say to drug her when I ordered you to bring her here?" I could hear a deep voice that made my heart flutter. Something too familiar in it but my hazy brain couldn't register it.

"Well, it was easier this way, you know" another voice joined in an unbothered but apologetic tone.

I was laying on a soft mattress, my head on a pillow. I blinked my eyes open. It wasn't very bright in the room, a soft yellowish light giving me the ability to see. However, it was a tight one, the bed taking up all the space and the white, plastic roof was hanging low. Beige curtains were on the walls, covering any natural light invading in. It felt weird, but that wasn't the reason my heart stopped.

Their eyes snapped to me as I rustled the beige sheets under me. His eyes were dark, more lively than they ever had been in my dreams, competing with the glow of his dark, long hair. His arms were revealed by rolled up sleeves, showing the tattoos with details I had forgotten and made up while sleeping. His beauty took my breath away.

A nightmare. He had taken me. He took merely a step closer to me. I screamed. I was waiting for his gun that was tucked to his waist to be raised to me. His height towering over me, sniffing all the light away. Me waking up on an empty bed.

Nothing happened and the scream died on my lips. My desperate efforts to get air to my lungs were filling the room. There was shock in their faces, like they hadn't expected me to scream. Something truly was off.

"No", I whispered and pinched my arm, like I didn't know already. He was really there. In front of me. It wasn't a nightmare.

Like a reflex my body jolted up, tossing the sheets away. My shoeless feet landed on a soft carpet and in a few strides I opened the door next to them. I stepped inside another room full of seats. My feet didn't stop moving, but he blocked me.

"Vivienne", his voice tickled in my ear, sending thousands of electrical shocks to my body. The arm of him circled my waist that luckily was covered by my simple blue dress. So many thoughts screamed in my head at the same time. My brain needed a reaction out of me but I wasn't understanding anything.

He seemed to notice how confused I was and he let go of me, spinning me to face him. I couldn't. My eyes roamed over the space. There were few seating areas, but not much space. Everything was white and cream coloured. The small windows gave it away. I was on a fucking private airplane. With Zero. And Connie who emerged from the bedroom.

"Um, sorry for drugging you", he apologised and scratched his neck. He had grown a little, not as tall as his cousin, and he was still having a buzz cut but with a beard. His childlike features had sharpened from the last time and his body had gotten more muscles. I could see the sweetness behind his eyes that hadn't disappeared while he had grown.
