Derek shifts uncomfortably in his seat, being stuck between the two women he loved.

The world shrinking to just the three of them locked in an unyielding gaze.
"Look I got sh*t to do so can we hurry this up?" Derek says breaking the silence.
Phoebe snaps her neck back at him.
"Not trying be like that, just saying" Derek making it clear.
"Don't know why you're kissing up to her, she's going be pissed off regardless" Mel says texting on her phone now.
Derek sighs, eyes shifting up and down in her direction, "Mel put that away, we're having a meeting" Derek says.
Phoebe sucks in her bottom lip, trying to be patient.
Mel stares straight ahead at her mother while pushing her phone in her pocket.
