Under The Lights

Seventeen- Record Lee

I get up from the chair and stretch.

I walk to the mirror and look at her glorious work, she even layed my baby hairs.

"Cool thanks bye. I'll cashapp you." I say quickly and walk to the door signaling Kora to follow me and I basically rush to the car before she can get a full sentence out. Im tired of the questions. She makes me wanna strangle her sometimes.

Once we're both in i pull out my phone and check the time, it's almost seven. And i notice no text messages from Titan. I sigh and cashapp Junie before pulling out of her driveway and heading home.

I park in front of my house and decide to walk Kora around the block before heading back home. I unlock the door and let Kora in first, taking her leash off before my shoes. I notice the kitchen light is on and i walk in to see Titan sitting on a stool, his back turned towards me as he eats something while looking down at his phone, he has yet to notice our presence.

Kora barks and he startles before turning around in his chair. His face visibly lights up when he sees me and id be lying if i said it didn't make my heart race. i notice he's in dark jeans and a long sleeve shirt rolled up to his elbows, just the way i like it. I see his eyes go to my hair first as he smiles at me. "Your hair, it's very pretty."

I smile and give him a little twirl before walking closer to him. "Thanks." I notice a half eaten green apple in his hand as he puts it down as well as his phone.

He hesitates for a second."Can i touch it?"

I tilt my body to the side and let him. I see him rake his fingers through my hair before rubbing a braid between his fingers. "So what did you do today?" I ask him and he lets go of my hair motioning with his head at the fridge.

"Check the fridge."

I raise an eyebrow and open the fridge. I whistle. "You went grocery shopping? Whats in this bowl?" I point to the covered bowl and look at him just in time to see his eyes snap to mine. I smile as he clears his throat, the tips of his ears turning pink. "Marinating some steak, i didn't want to start cooking until you came home. Im gonna make some salad and twice baked potatoes too."

I cheer inside my head. I am eating good tonight.

"Oo we're eating fancy tonight." I say as i go over to the pantry and bend down to drag Kora's food near her bowl before filling it up.

"Why didn't you wake me up before you left?"

"Well you were sleeping so peacefully i didn't want to disturb you." I say while filling up Koras water bowl.

He shakes his head. "You wouldn't have disturbed me, plus i wanted to change your bandages and see you off."

I smile and walk over to him, taking my chance at being affectionate and wrapping an arm around his neck, he tenses at first but quickly relaxes. "Well aren't you sweet. I didn't think it mattered but next time I'll wake you." He nods and looks down. I follow his eyesight and see that he wrapped one of the laces from my pants around his finger. "This outfit," his voice deeper than usual before clearing his throat. "It looks nice on you."

"Yea?"

He nods and looks at me, his cheeks turning a little pink. "Yea." He whispers looking at my lips.

I smile. He is just so cute, i wanna pinch his cheeks but it would ruin the mood. I feel his arm wrap around my waist pulling me to his chest before cupping the back of my head and pulling me in for a kiss. The way he's sitting on the chair makes us almost the same height, making it way easier to kiss him. The kiss starts out slow and innocent until he opens his mouth, tilting my head with his hand causing me to open my mouth and sigh into it at the slightly aggressive action.
