Enji Todoroki had to step back quickly to avoid being hit by the Doctor's walking stick. From the sound it made hitting the table's leg, that would have definitely hurt.

"You know I heard you were very insensitive, but this?" The Doctor snapped at him. "Yes, I am blind... Well technically..."

Enji raised his brow and the Doctor hit him with the cane. "So you saw that!"

"Yes! But facial expressions are annoying. They're very hard to miss when there are a lot of things going on."

"You're not blind then?" Enji asked sternly. The Doctor readied his cane. "Hit me again and you lose the cane!"

The Doctor grumbled, walking away from him to the next table

The Doctor grumbled, walking away from him to the next table. "That's why everyone likes All-Might," Enji heard him mumble under his breath as he beckoned him over.

This time, Endeavor made sure to stand on the other side of the table to avoid any nasty surprises from the spindly doctor. Sadam #2 stood next to Endeavor.

"I can't see anything that's not alive or animated. The latter concept is a bit wishy-washy," the Doctor admitted. "Life is usually everywhere so I can technically see most things from their outline. For all intents and purposes though, I am blind. And I do need my cane to navigate my surroundings so don't you dare burn it," he said, raising his cane by the other end to try and hit Enji with it. He refrained from doing so.

He focused his attention on the next hero, an unimpressive young brunette man. His body was set in a crucified position. "Here, we have Glacier's teammate — the Jailer. His quirk allowed him to stop the movement of any liquid with a touch. A fatal quirk if it hits. Cause of death here is very clear." The Doctor brought Enji's attention to his throat. "A single clean slice across the neck with enough force to sever both the carotid and the jugular, but not enough to decapitate. From the looks of it, he didn't resist the final strike."

Enji clenched his fist as he felt a rage bubble through him. This was the position he had found his sidekick Bombard in. Enji knew that Bombard would have fought to his last breath, and resented the doctor's assertion. "No hero would ever stop resisting... Not when there were still civilians nearby," Enji spat.

The Doctor felt Endeavor's apprehension and offered an explanation. "He does have a couple of broken bones, probably from an earlier bout. And his body was in this state when he was found. My best guess is that one of them has an ability that is either able to control the body or forcefully paralyze their target. You should probably watch out for that." He studied the body for a few seconds. "It's quite poetic if you think about it. A hero with the ability to paralyze, bested by a villain with the same ability. It's a shame I couldn't study him before. That quirk could have helped restrain so many villains."

Despite the gravity of the Doctor's words, his tone remained jovial and almost flippant. This irked Enji even more. He realized that these people were nothing but new subjects to be studied to this man. Their lives were inconsequential as far as he was concerned, their only value in how relevant he deemed their quirks to his studies. With each statement, he was reminded of why the PSIA remained hidden in the underbelly of Hero Society, in the same abhorrent pot as villains and their black market dealings.

"I've had enough of this. Tell me what they were after," Endeavor stated.

"Already? The other two villains have a quirk you'd find very interesting. You really made a good choice starting with the pro-heroes," the Doctor said, excitedly.

Everything fell into place now, the two people in the room realizing almost at the same time. Enji had been tricked.

He pushed away the dissection table so that it rolled across the floor, the pro-hero lunging forward to grab the Doctor by the color. There was a presence behind him, Sadam #2 had its own hand around Enji's flaming neck and the Doctor held Endeavor's strangling arm with both of his.

"You already did the autopsies didn't you?" Endeavor asked, his fiery hair blazing in fury. "You gave the report to Haruki Noya."

"I do not answer to bullies," the Doctor stated firmly. For someone who looked so frail, he sounded very confident. "Stand down, Number 2." He spat out the last words with utter disdain, tightening his own grip around Endeavor's large hands, as though to pry them away.

"Surely you don't think you'll win right? I could turn you to ash in a second."

The Doctor chuckled. "On any day, yes. But the moment you made contact, you lost the advantage," he told him, looking down at his hands around Endeavor's arms. "I'm curious how your Hellflame does... against my Soul Stealer!"

Endeavor tightened his grip around the Doctor's neck. "Maybe I'm feeling lucky." Lee was up, his eyes glaring wildly at Endeavor.

"Lee, Sadam #2, stand down!" The Doctor ordered. "I'm sure Endeavor will make the right choice."

Sadam #2 released its grip around Enji's neck and Lee straightened up. Endeavor still held up the Doctor, the smaller man's feet dangling in the air.

"Tell me what I need to know... now!"

"I told you... I do not... answer... to bullies," the Doctor spat. "If you want anything resembling the truth from me, you will let me go."

After an intense stare down, Enji's body relaxed as he let the frail man drop to the ground, wheezing and coughing. "No more games. What are they after?" Enji asked a still recovering doctor.

"I don't know... When I got the bodies, they were too far gone. I couldn't reanimate them," the Doctor explained.

Enji was not buying it. He'd been fed lie after lie by the PSIA and was sure this was another stall, for a reason he couldn't comprehend. He noticed a cuffed Lee in the back. "If you won't tell me, I'll just ask the boy then."

"Wait, wait, I'll tell you all I know..." the Doctor muttered when Enji took a step towards Lee. He got onto his feet, supporting himself with his cane and the dissection table. "Noya is going to kill me," he mumbled underneath his voice before turning to Enji. "They were looking for someone, a young child whose quirk had a crackling quality."

Enji growled, the Doctor feeling the flames rise around him. "Lightning... it's lightning!!" the Doctor told him. "They were looking for one of the terrorists who had a lightning ability. That's what they wanted from the sidekicks."

Endeavor turned to Lee whose panicked expression confirmed what the Doctor was saying. If they were amongst the child terrorists who attacked, then he had a clear idea of which ones he needed to question. "Get me out of here!" He spat.

"Before you go after them, I need to warn you. There's one whose quirk allows them to merge with other people," the Doctor cautioned, but Enji, assuming it was just another distraction, shrugged. "Sadam #2... please escort the Number 2 hero to the main floor."

Sadam #2 complied, leading a raging Endeavor to the regular morgue entrance.

"Don't forget about the HPSC's meeting," the Doctor reminded as Endeavor disappeared from view. When the Doctor was sure he was out of earshot, he turned to Lee, whose creased brow conveyed his concern.

"Ah don't worry Lee. None of the reports confirmed that Sasuke had a lightning quirk. Orca didn't want anyone to know about his electrocution..." he assured. "He'd be the last person Enji would think of."
