The Kitsune's Cursed Hero

Chapter 12

Y/n's POV

Glass walked over to us, looking at us. "How'd she... She took out that Soul Eater in one hit." Motoyasu said. 

"If you ask me, she's just showing off." Ren added.

"Question, how did you know I was a hero?" I asked.

"It's your aura. Compared to everyone else here, apart from Naofumi. You have the next strongest aura." Glass explained.

"My aura?" I asked, not fully sure what she meant. Glass just laughed, not answering me. Glass raised her fan before opening in front of her face. "May I suggest we begin? The only battle of this wave is worthy of the name." Glass said, aiming one of her fans at us. I looked at her hoping that her stats would show up, but when I tried looking I saw her HP bar was a light purple while her level was just question marks. "She's stronger than either of us. I know that for sure, given how her HP bar and level look." I thought to myself. 

"Why are you two waiting to attack? Hero Naofumi, Hero Y/n. Why not try sending those servants of yours at me first." Glass suggested. I almost laughed as I held it in, thinking about how she referred to the other three heroes as servants. "Servants?! What the hell!" Ren started.

"You just called us..." Itsuki continued.

"Naofumi's and Y/n's servants?!" Motoyasu finished.

"Screw you!" The three shouted. They all charged towards her, trying to attack her from all sides as their parties surrounded them. Each of the heroes was using their Meteor attacks at the same time while Glass stood there. The attacks landed against Glass, but once the dust settled, we looked back seeing that Glass was unharmed from the three attacks. "Is that all you've got? Zero Stance Rondo, Reverse Four Seasons." Glass said, raising her fans. She started moving her fans around, which started making shockwaves that ended up knocking everyone back and onto the floor. Ren, Itsuki and Motoyasu landed at our feet while mana potions fell out of their pockets. I picked one up and drank it before tossing the bottle back down to them. "As I said before, servants." Glass said, smirking at the three heroes.

"How did she do that?" Itsuki asked. Motoyasu groaned as he tried to stand up to fight more. Big brother picked up a SP recovery potion before drinking it. "I hope you two will at least entertain me a little." Glass said.

"Sorry, lady, but I was never much into entertaining. That said... Shield Prison!" Big brother shouted.

"Dreifach Kitsune Fire Pillar!" I shouted, attacking Glass while she was inside the Shield Prison skill. Glass smashed her way out of the melting prison that big brother and I had made. "Raphtalia!" Big brother shouted. Big sis rushed towards Glass, trying to attack her, but her attacks were easily parried by Glass before Filo tried to attack. Glass dodged Filo's attack before slashing towards big sis. Big brother rushed forward, blocking the attack from Glass before using his snake shield to attack. The snakes bit her, but weren't doing anything. "You didn't think that would really work, did you?" Glass asked, looking at big brother.

"Filo! Y/n!" Big brother called. I used a speed enhancement spell on Filo before she used High Quick to attack, but Glass continued to block her attacks with ease. While Filo attacked, big sis snuck up behind Glass before trying to attack her from behind. "12 kicks in a second, how very admirable. But you'll have to do better than that." Glass mocked. Big sis gasped as Glass looked back at her. "Not even worthy of mention." Glass said. I rushed over, jumping up and using a protection spell to block the attack, but big sis' sword still got cut in half by Glass' attack. Glass raised her arms like she did before when she attacked the other heroes. "All of you get behind me!" Big brother called. The three of us rushed over, getting behind big brother as Glass prepared to attack again. Big brother used Shield Prison to protect us, which held out, but big sis and Filo collapsed to the floor once the Shield Prison vanished. "I must say, I'm impressed you're still standing after that. Now then, when exactly do you intend to use that Flaming Shield you've been wielding?" Glass asked.
