_POV:THE LEGION CLAN_

The hall's tension thickened as Lord Valios's voice dripped with disdain.

"And how do we find this... lad?"

Queen Lyrebird's emerald eyes faltered, her delicate features twisted in concern.

"The thing is... I don't know where he originates from."

King Thois's rugged brow furrowed. "How do you mean?"

King Lyrad's gaze was steady as he spoke

"She means that... we don't know if he's one of us or if he's a human born of one of us, which is forbidden."

Queen Lyrebird nodded, her voice laced with desperation.

"We could start a search party, maybe..."

Lord Valios's patience snapped. He slammed his fist on the table, the sound echoing through the hall.

"I don't have time for these games, Lyrebird!" His eyes blazed with fury.

Lord Xoray intervened, his calm demeanor a stark contrast to Valios's outburst.

"Compose yourself, Valios" he traced circles around his cup a smirk forming on his lips

Queen Lyrebird's aura shifted from serene to fiery, her voice rising.

"You're always so quick to anger, Why can't you reason and not just act?"

The air crackled with tension as Valios and Lyrebird exchanged glares.

King Lyrad's commanding voice broke the stalemate.

"I will not tolerate disrespect toward my wife, Valios. Sit or Getout"

Valios's raven hair cascaded down his back as he flipped it, his movement deliberate. With a calculated slowness, he took his seat, his eyes still flashing with anger. Lady Nova, his wife, placed a soothing hand on his arm, her sapphire eyes calming him...

The room remained heavy with tension after Lord Valios's outburst and King Lyrad's stern warning.

Queen Zephyrine broke the silence, her melodious voice a calming balm. "Do go on, Lyrebird."

Queen Lyrebird inhaled deeply, her emerald eyes sparkling with determination.

"If we select one trusted representative from each of our clans... perhaps it will simplify the search."

Lady Nova, her raven hair cascading down her back, chimed in, her voice laced with intrigue. "What of the Casted Clan?"

She sipped from her cup, her other hand entwined with Lord Valios', a subtle display of unity. "That bastard Callisto and the others... I'll keep an eye on him."

King Thois's rugged features twisted in disgust.

"I wonder why Xoray didn't eliminate him when he had the chance..i mean..i would have."

Queen Ayla's gentle touch on King Thois's back soothed his ire.

"What does everyone think?" King Finnan asked, leaning forward, his elbows on the table.

Queen Lyrebird's gaze shifted to Lord Xoray. "You've been awfully quiet, Xoray."

Lord Xoray's smirk hinted at hidden intentions. He kissed his teeth before responding,

"I think it's a nice start." His nonchalant shrug belied the gravity of his next words: "My son will go."

The room fell silent, eyes widening in surprise. Lord Xoray had never involved his son in clan matters before.

"Oh, alright then... my Aria will go too," Queen Lyrebird volunteered.

Lord Valios's face darkened.

"Oh, so we're putting our children at risk now? How pathetic!" His venomous tone made Lady Nova's grip on his arm tighten.

"Honey," she whispered, her sapphire eyes calming, "we'll think about it."

Queen Zephyrine exchanged a weighted glance with her husband King Finnan before speaking.

"Our Nimue will go too..."

Queen Ayla leaned into King Thois, her voice barely above a whisper. "We'll have to talk to the boys... maybe Lax will go." Thois nodded, his rugged features set in determination.

Queen Lyrebird rose to her feet, her authority evident. "We'll meet here tomorrow, same time."

As the gathering dispersed, Lord Valios and Lady Nova departed swiftly, their exit a stark contrast to the lingering tension...
