Fog and dust filled the air, obscuring visibility. "What's happening?" Lady Geneva coughed, struggling to her feet. Lord Halvort and Callisto rose beside her, waving their hands to clear the haze.

"Even with our vision,we can't see through this," Lord Halvort admitted.

Asher emerged from the fog, his face shrouded. As he raised his head, his eyes gleamed white, illuminating the darkness. But it was his wings that captivated everyone – big, curved, and majestic.

"A Sylax..." Queen Lyrebird whispered, awestruck.

Lord Forsythe and Valmorth watched from a hidden vantage point, unseen by the others.

"What do we do now?" Lord Halvort turned to Callisto, but before she could respond, a swift, arrow-shaped chain sliced through the air.

The chain pierced Halvort's chest, and he coughed blood as his eyes locked with Callisto's in horror. The chain yanked him upward, slamming him to the ground repeatedly. His body broke apart, disintegrating into ash that dispersed into the air.

Asher's eyes blazed with an otherworldly intensity, illuminating the darkening landscape.

"Runnnnnnn!"

Callisto yelled, his voice laced with desperation, as he and Lady Geneva turned to flee.

But the chain was relentless, snatching Geneva and wrapping around her like a noose. She coughed blood as her body began to disintegrate into ash.

"C-ca-" she struggled to speak, her eyes locked on Callisto in a silent plea.

Callisto stumbled, horror-stricken, before colliding with Valmorth and Forsythe behind a tree.

"Where were you guys?" he exclaimed, breathless and frantic. "Halvort! Geneva! Asher!"

Valmorth's gaze remained fixed on Asher, who was transforming into a monstrous entity before their eyes. Devil-like horns curved from his forehead, thick and sharp, casting sinister shadows. Black veins pulsed through his hands, now tipped with razor-sharp claws that gleamed in the fading light. Ancient symbols etched into his skin seemed to writhe and twist, as if alive.

"Tame it..." The words echoed in Asher's mind, a faint reminder of his humanity, but he felt powerless against the force consuming him.

Meanwhile, Queen Zephyrine and King Finnan shielded Nimue behind a boulder, their faces etched with concern.

"My child...look at me..." Zephyrine whispered, tears streaming down her face as she cradled Nimue's cheeks.

Fairy magic swirled around Nimue as Zephyrine and Finnan held hands above her, their palms glowing with soft, ethereal light.

Other leaders scrambled for cover:

Queen Ayla and King Thois hid with Lax, their faces pressed against the ground.

Lady Nova and Lord Valios sheltered with Kael, who cried, "What's happening, father?!" his voice muffled by his arms.

Lord Xoray and Xavier observed the chaos with enigmatic calm, their expressions unreadable.

King Lyrad, Queen Lyrebird, and Aria hid together..

The wind was heavy and thick with malevolent energy, weighing upon the landscape like an oppressive shroud.

Asher gazed up at the darkening sky, his eyes blazing with an otherworldly intensity. Suddenly, he spread his majestic wings, their curved tips like a sword's peak..

With a burst of speed, Asher zoomed from the ground, leaving a whirlwind of dust and debris in his wake. His wings beat powerful and swift, propelling him upward.

"W-where's he going?" Aria muttered, peeking cautiously from their hiding spot behind the boulder. Her voice trembled, laced with concern and uncertainty.

Lord Xoray's piercing gaze locked onto Forsythe with untraceable speed. In an instant, Xoray vanished and reappeared behind Forsythe holding him in place, his movements eerily silent and menacing. Forsythe teleported himself from Xoray's grip, narrowly escaping the deadly grasp.

"You..." Xoray growled, his teeth gritted in frustration, eyes blazing with fury.

Callisto turned to flee but stumbled into Xavier's intense, unnerving gaze. The air seemed to thicken, heavy with unspoken threats, and Callisto crumpled to the ground, overwhelmed by the weight of Xavier's attention.

Valmorth, however, managed to slip away unnoticed, vanishing into the chaos and darkness.

The wind howled louder, as if sensing Asher's departure. Shadows deepened, and the atmosphere grew more ominous.
