Everyone faded, everything faded. Nimue felt struck, as if a new part of her had awakened.

Valmorth tried to stop them, but as he got closer to the light enveloping them.

"Ahhh...make it stop, make it stop!" Valmorth yelled, his body disintegrating into ashes.

Fangs protruded from Nimue as she felt a surge of calm and immortality in her being.

"You can tame it, son," echoed in Asher's mind. "Tame it."

As he withdrew his fangs from Nimue's neck, everything reversed. His life played before his eyes.

Then, a sonic boom erupted from both of them.

Once the light faded and everywhere seemed calm...

"We dead?" Kael whispered, confusion etched on his face.

Nimue laid on Asher's chest,their bodies glowing,white as snow.

"Nimue.." her mother muttered as she tried approaching them but stopped when nimue started to wake

Nimue slowly opened her eyes, grogginess clouding her mind. As her vision cleared,she saw faces surrounding them - concerned, awestruck, and relieved.

Lax's expression softened, a mix of emotions dancing on his face.

Queen Zephyrine's face radiated relief, tears brimming in her eyes.

Queen Lyrebird, a gentle smile on her lips.

The silence was palpable, heavy with unspoken questions.

Their presence seemed almost...otherworldly.

The air around them vibrated with an energy that was both calming and exhilarating.

Nimue's hand instinctively went to Asher's face,he didn't feel so cold anymore

"A-asher?" She muttered as she tapped him a bit

Her heartbeat became faster as she thought of the worst

Everyone's eyes remained fixed on Nimue and Asher, awaiting whatever comes next.

Slowly Asher's eyes fluttered open,his vision a blur at first before he adjusted
Something inside of him changed,he didn't feel pain nor the urge for anything,he felt like him but on a different level..

Tears filled Nimue's eyes as she hugged him pulling his head to her chest...

"We need to get them somewhere" Queen Zephyrine said to Queen Lyrebird

"How bout your place?...seems soothing" She added

Queen Lyrebird nodded in confirmation..

Forsythe stood a corner watching,no one wanted to approach them especially Asher

"And its done.." Queen Lyrebird walked up to them helping Asher and Nimue up

"You both were mated after all and you our dear nimue...is his tame" she smiled

"Nimue, as his mate, you helped him tame his beast..Your bond strengthened his control."

"Are you alright?" Aria rushed to her and hugged Nimue

Lax watched, a mix of emotions swirling.

Xavier stepped forward, Kael leaning on his shoulder for support.
